In that movie the maker tried to show how the world would look like in 2084 with wired telephones, crt monitors, and many other technologies that are already backdated in 2022. They even did not have any idea how the world would look like in 2022. However. I enjoyed the movie a lot in my childhood. I still like the movie. My point is we still don not know or imagine how the world would look like 20 years from now.

Read the comics in the 60's, spent the 70's mad as hell @ all of the poorly produced super hero properties, but after a loooooooong wait, Marvel started making the movies proper, bringing us the heros in their glory, as only technology could provide. The writing is so much better now, and new generations of nerds will get greatly infected at rates never seen before!
