Right now, I own a Quest 3. It does great for a standalone headset, and is 100% worth it. It’s better than the Quest 2 in many ways as well.

The Rift S was released 2018 not 2016 Quest 2 the most gaming VR sold Boneworks was released 2019 and was not released on Quest 2, Bonelab released on Quest 2.

Wrong. It is indeed a VR headset. True AR would be something like Microsoft hololens 2 which has NATIVE passtrough. AVP just shows you a camera feed. Thats something different. It's XR (Extended Reality).
