Whomp Dash Smash 🏃‍♂️💥 Type: Free-for-All Objective: Race to the finish line through an obstacle course while dodging falling Whomps. First player to cross the finish line wins! Gameplay: Players sprint through a narrow pathway filled with Whomps that slam down at random intervals. If you get squashed, you’re temporarily stunned, slowing you down. Players can use short bursts of speed (by pressing the B button) to dash through tight openings, but stamina is limited. Victory Condition: First to reach the finish wins, with the rest ranked by how far they got before the timer runs out. --- 2. Whomp-a-Rama Wreckage 🛑🔨 Type: 2 vs 2 Objective: Teams must push Whomps into the opposing side’s goal zone to score points. Be strategic, but avoid getting squashed by the stomping Whomps! Gameplay: Players move large Whomp blocks by working together using the control stick and A button to push. Some Whomps will randomly slam down and flatten anyone underneath, forcing those players to lose a few seconds of time. Power-ups occasionally appear, like invincibility stars or speed boosts, to make pushing easier. Victory Condition: The team that pushes the most Whomps into their opponent’s goal wins the game! --- 3. Whomp Tower Tumble 🪨🌪️ Type: Battle Minigame Objective: Climb a giant Whomp tower as fast as possible, avoiding Whomps that try to crush you or knock you down! Gameplay: Players climb using the control stick, jumping from ledge to ledge with the A button. Whomps on each level slam down at random, forcing players to dodge or risk being knocked to the bottom. There are shortcuts, but they are guarded by Whomps who block the way and only move for a split second-perfect timing is required! Victory Condition: First to the top wins, with others ranked based on how high they climbed before the time runs out. --- Celebration: Winners celebrate by riding a Whomp that belly-flops into the ground, sending confetti flying! Losers are flattened briefly but pop back up with a funny animation, looking dizzy but laughing. --- These Whomp-themed minigames in Mario Party 8 provide a blend of chaos, strategy, and humor, adding a unique flavor to the game that’s sure to delight players!
