I really loved the one s and one x controller. I hated the separated face and shoulder buttons of the original xbox one controller. It allowed for dust to get in and it looked janky at times. The one s solved that by giving it a more premium look (eliminating the visible shiny plastic) and adding textured grips on the handles which was even more improved by the series x/s controllers

The duke isnt a bad controller. It just was a poor one for the majority of people. But for people with larger hands or those who grew accustomed to its size, it works incredibly well. I think if the Akebono controller was offered as well on launch, the duke wouldnt have been sp hated at the start. Shame hyperkin's build quality is lacking. It's a good controller at heart. But the company needs to up their sturdiness and improve the durability of its components

I bought the Nacon CG-100 controller for my PC, it's nothing special and not expensive and absolute worth the money. The the button layout is the same like on the X-Box one controller, a very good quality d-pad and the other buttons are also nice with a good feeling.

There were three revisions of the Xbox 360 controller the first revision replaced the gray joysticks d-pad and overall gray aesthetic for black or white then afterwards they released fundamentally the same controller but the d-pad could be twisted to be much more like a normal d-pad
