Even revolutionary socialism is not against the state itself. The overarching idea is that the state adopts the required measure in the phase known as socialism through which the society matures and individuals mature and become so good that the state is no longer required and thus gradually withers away, thereby eventually leading to a stateless society. In actuality, it will still be state, but such a state such that everyone is a part of administration by virtue of administering themselves. And when everyone is the state, there is no one left for any potential exploitation by any powerful entity including the state.
