I'm sure all dinosaurs have great personalities... but some just look better than others thanks to awesome skins. My picks for the best skins for all dinosaurs in Jurassic World Evolution 2 (aaaand flying and marine reptiles of course).

I definitely like the camp cretaceous Para skin and some of the jurassic park skins, I'm a huge jurassic park fan so I like all the JP stuff, I wish the devs would bring more skins from the movies into the game they are so fun

Wish I had a notebook on hand because a lot of these are great for a Halloween park. Your picks for Maiasaura looks perfect for it and Archeoninthomimus too. Hate the Dominion Giga but it's pretty much ideal for that thing too and I already loved Majungasaurus before you uncovered that Halloween skin, but the thing I mostly worry about are herbivores for it. As far as skins I like that I didn't see here, Suchomimus with Gambia River Basin+Papurana that's dark brown and yellow, to me it just looks super Jurassic Park-y. I totally could have seen it in the first trilogy just like the Metriacanthosaurus and I am in love with that.

Honestly I really like the all white ceratosaurus. It has an awesome face marking that looks like a mask, and it does great in snowy or temperate biomes.

Hi, I'm new to this channel and I just want to say you're an amazing KZbinr! Also, I love Jurassic World Evolution 2, my favorite variant is without a doubt the Dominion Giga Skin and the Dreadnoughtus Dominion Variant comes in at a close second! As for skins, I would say my favorite is Para Lux skin but I really love the movie raptor skins as well! These skins make the game so much more fun! Keep up the great work, you're amazing!

You should honestly try the Compsognathus with Amazon River and the Chalcorana pattern for a really nice colorful look to make them stand out or Limpopo River and Lithobates pattern for a darker yet nicely blended look.

I was going to type out the favorite skins we matched on, but it ended up being 19 species so I won't do that. Lol. After watching your picks, though, I realized that a lot of my favorites have to do with very contrasting colors and patterns, and I think it's because of my colorblindness. There are some combinations where the pattern just disappears for me, so I think that affected my decision! Anyway, I enjoyed your choices as well!

Was playing Jurassic World Evolution 2 Challenge Mode in Jurassic Difficulty UK. Can't remember the exact skin and pattern combination I used, but I made some Olorotitans that were black (maybe Yukon River?) with shades of yellow throughout its body and head. Were some of the most beautiful dinosaurs that I had created so far.

I definitely do a lot of the teal with orange in a lot of my dinos as well. I like a lot of your choices. I normally either create dinos with skin based on an environment (trying to make a nice camouflage) or I do the exact opposite and make it an extreme vibrant color.

Also, when I'm trying to make a dinosaur nature reserve, and fake sexual dimorphism, I will make the "females" one color without a pattern and make the males the same color but with a pattern, kind of like most birds. Most birds, the males will have a vibrant color offset the base colors.

Been waiting for this video for a looooong time! Yeah, I think the problem with the spino is that at least five of the color options are shades of green...not one single blue. Also, like you said, not working on a good pattern for the standard Raptors is is really disapointing, making them as uninteresting as in the first game.

What one of my favorites is the herrerasaurus with the red skin and black pattern. (Forgot the names of both), which gives a somewhat telltale herrerasaurus skin, but without the yellow tone on the back of the dinosaur. I use that combination in any skin. Would recommend using for jurassic park recreations since it looks and fits so well with the jp buildings.

I really loved this video, another sugestions for some dinosaur skins are Baryonyx: (Mangrove Forest & Rana) Idk I just like most of Baryonyx's skins in JWE2 Brachiosaurus: (Mangrove Forest & Blank Pattern) The tallest dinosaur in the game will be more amazing with this skin Homalocephale (Mangrove Forest & any pattern you like) I love blue dinosaurs Quetzalcoatlus (Yukon River or Gambia river basin & any pattern you like) I just love quetzalcoatlus

Pachyrhinosaurus for example I like to just use mangrove forest without a pattern. I feel like a pattern almost ruins the look of some the the dinos

I will say, there are a few skins for some of the dinosaurs that look even better than what shows up here imo, but many are challenge mode skins. (I'll update this list if I come up with any other skin patterns. Most of the ones you picked were really nice.) Coelophysis' stripe problem is slightly nullified with the papurana pattern, as only the outline of it shows up on most skins. Papurana also works really well on many of the Compy's skins, but it looks best on either Svalbard or Amazon Rainforest. Corythosaurus with Champlain Valley and Lithobates creates a dull green back and sides with a bright green underbelly. Svalbard on the Deinonychus with Lithobates makes for a nice teal base color with the vibrant crest and tail fin patterns. Svalbard on the Dilo with no pattern makes an awesome black Dilo able to blend in with the shadows. Lithobates on the Edmontosaurus provides awesome blue stripes, and while it looks good with every pattern, Gambia River Basin suits it best. Svalbard on the Herrerasaurus makes for a spectacular dark green skin color, with both Pelophylax and Chalcorana providing for a good camo-like pattern Lithobates combined with Qilian Mountains provides for a zebra-esc Iguanodon. Svalbard is probably my favorite skin for the Indominus, because a black Indominus rex is badass. And Pelophylax goes well with both it and Gambia River Basin (which has a bluish hue on the back), as the red of Pelophylax makes the Indominus look like it has blood on its face. Qilian Mountains looks mystical on the Indoraptor, and the Papurana makes it a perfect inverse to the black and yellow of the original Indoraptor. I think you're really missing out on the Rana pattern on the default Kentro, as it provides black spots all over its back and darkens the base of the plates and spikes. Maiasaura looks spectacular with the Gambia River Basin skin, but none of the patterns mesh with it too well. Lithobates gives the Olorotitan a vivid yellow on its crest, but honestly, no skin or pattern is bad on this dinosaur imo. Though not as vibrant as Pelophylax, Lithobates on the Proceratosaurus, combined with Svalbard, makes for a good contrasting dark skin a d vibrant pattern. Again, no skin is bad on the Pyroraptor, but Gambia River Basin with Papurana emphasizes the blue of this skin combo. Also might have to do with blue being my favorite color. Limpopo River and Lithobates work fairly well with the Tsintaosaurus, but not by much. You are sorely missing out on a fantastic skin pattern when it comes to the Velociraptor. Gambia River Basin makes for a navy blue raptor, but the firey orange of Papurana gives it an awesome pattern around its eyes and tail.

My allosaurs always have the darkest green with the Rana brown I think, and they end up blending in really well with the shade of trees.

It really bugs me how most of the sauropods and ankylosaurs have boring skins. Like, there's so much that can be done with them. The sauropods especially, considering how big they are. It just frustrates me that they're so dull. Anyway, great video! I loved seeing all the fun skins. Btw Triceratops and Torosaurus are considered different animals by most scientists.

this is a little helpful cause i never can find a good skin for my dinos so i use a random skin and they ehtier look really good together or they just look like different dinosaurs for example i dont want a bright green chasmosaurus and a deep brown chasmasaurus XD

For the plesiosaur I personally like using Amazon Rainforest with Chalcorana. I love this pattern because the blue with yellow accents is similar to the plesiosaur from the original Zoo Tycoon: Dinosaur Digs Expansion.

i know this is six days late but one of my favourite skins for the herrerasaurus is sonaran desert with either chalcorana or pelophylax because both of them look very vibrant with the orange-ish red mixed with the pattern giving it a nice smokey effect, but also just for nostalgia since it reminds me of the jurassic park the game herrerasaurus.

For Baryonyx my favorite skin (besides the obvious Grim, Limbo and Chaos skins) is Death valley with chalcorana it gives it this albino look like those albino crocodiles and I love it so much

A cool Indom skin I found is Svalbard with Lithobates. I personally love this skin.
