not sure about that - I use my Sony A6500 with a gimbal and I can get nice low shots... Of course if you fall down.. well that's money wasted... but to get the shot it's worth it.. at least to me lol..

One thing that's pretty clear by watching this video is the potential "Cool" factor of the transition to autonomous vehicles. Once all those other cars start to drive themselves, the number of surface streets needed to serve a city is going to dramatically reduce. At the same time (with a little push from the population) it is possible to dramatically expand the street level infrastructure to take streets formally used for cars and transform them to EV transport. Long range electric skateboards, E-bikes and even small long range electric carts can be used to transport people within a city. The Carbon GT has a range of 30 miles on street wheels.. .even with a 218 pound fat old rider like myself. We have E-bikes now with ranges over 100 miles. It's pretty clear the landscape is changing.. and hugely for the better.

First, THANK YOU for making this evolve vid. I love my bamboo GTX street. Second, if you change the gears from the stock 32t to the 38t using the 107s, you’ll get a lot more acceleration, but you’ll sacrifice top speed and range as I understand it....Also, you need new belt plates if you upgrade to the 107s from a smaller wheel. The dude at Filipacchi told me TODAY when I bought my 107s that the stock belt plates would fit. I knew they wouldn’t, but I was hopeful. Just a heads up to anyone who wants to upgrade from the crappy 97s.

For that particular R2 Evolve remote, the company changed the acceleration curve to make it more gradual. If you switch to the gen 1 remote, you can definitely get a much stronger kick in GT mode - possibly faster acceleration than Boosted.

Nice Sam. I find the 97mm wheel is a great balance for the Evolve CGT. High top speed w/ more torque than the 107's. Not quite as smooth though.

Black Phillip 🤣🤣 3 friends and I all have Evolve (everything from Bamboo GT with upgraded motors and custom batteries to stock Carbon GT) and one person with some budget board and one Boosted. Boosted stopped coming with us because he would die and be full throttle whole time we are at half lol he cant give it away now been tryin to sell it a while. No one wants it with Evolve being same prices.

The Carbon GT accelerates faster than the Boosted Board. It didn't at 7:55 because the Evolve boards have terrible voltage sag. After riding, Sam's battery was probably around 50% and flooring the 3000 watt motors from a stand still in the most taxing thing you can ask the board to do. It will only perform optimally with a new battery and/or >90% charge. But no one will read this or understand and they'll continue to be baffled by these things and wonder why Boosted has a 12 miles range and Evolve has 31.
