Great educational content, thank you. I'm aware of my bad habit of overusing ADS in close fights. My character moves too slowly, can't track the enemy, and I'm too easy to hit because of my slow movement. It's good to hear the coaching advise from you, and I'm going to try that shotgun practice shooter for sure. GGs!

Good video and another reminder to use the creative aim maps. I like the MK, mythic pistol and explosive repeater. Don't really get much value from SMG but no doubt that is a skill issue.

Great vid, I’ve always been confused about the bloom part and how it works. I had no clue it was based on the outer boundaries, I thought just the inner “square” was all that counted.

Its not the outer boundaries. Its the space between the central dot and the edge of the inner boundaries. Im not sure why he said outer

One of my main problems is trying to jump around while shooting in those close range fights when the opponent is jumping around too. Using a regular xbox controller is not conducive to those situations (at least for mw).

I stopped jumping on close range fights and switched to occasionally sprint jump and enter a slide, that i think is harder to track and also can get you from out of cover into a rock or a tree if you end up fighting in the open

Swap your jump and sprint button... In that way you can jump when you press the left stick.... And use right stick for crouch... This helped a lot as I didn't want to use claw.

Bro great video. Going to actively try and manage my recoil tonight when i play. I always used to position the aim in a way that it recoils itself to the oppenent (missing most of the first few shots). Was not even thinking about it till now.

Thanks for the tips. I’ve been playing since ch2 s2( tried the last 3 seasons of ch1,but wasn’t as interested in playing then). So to receive some helpful tips goes a long way. I enjoy the havoc ar despite many saying it’s the last ar you should use. Have had a lot of success in using it in the past month so hopefully these tips help me utilize it to the max as well as the other weapons too.

Very informative. I didn't know with the mk you can hold down fire if they are fairly far away. I thought you'd have to always tap fire. But I guess you only tap fire if they are super super far away. Thanks!

When I controll the recoil of the MK, I have to pull the analog all the way down to keep it steady. I'm not sure if that's a setting or something, but that's what works for me

Hello Jake, I know this is an unrelated question to the video but I play on the Nintendo switch and ps5 mainly on the ps5 I mainly play on switch but the only problem I have with switch is that I can’t backup my account and I’ve spent money and played last season and finished the battle pass but on my ps5 it is backed up and i played a bit last season and it has cosmetics from many seasons ago so should I just switch to ps5 as my main so that in the future if I switch to pc I have the same account or not? (Sorry for the long question it’s just been bothering me and you’re my favorite KZbinr so I thought I would ask you)

OH WOW!!! at the 8:10 mark there was a strategy I have not seen before. instead of peak firing a 50/50 with an opponent you just removed the door for a full assault.. Maybe there is a video idea for approaches to encounters. you talk a lot about right peaking and, this season, attacking from above. this clip of removing the door and surrounding wall is a new approach to encounter. I would love as video on strategy on encounters to gain advantage and indicators on running or resetting a fight.. this is some high IQ gaming stuff that I have not started to think about.

Did you play the Havoc AR for this video? I haven't seen you playing it in forever (for good reason, but if it is of a much higher rarity than the MK, I'll take it instead). I think it's not the best choice, but it is a bit underrated, like when someone picks up a gray MK over a mythic Havoc AR

Yea I dont ever want to use it personally I just got a game with it to go in the background while I was talking about bloom. It probably does get more hate than it should but if theres a red dot ar in the game Id much rather use that.

Another way to handle automatic weapons is to not control recoil at all. You can aim under your target, let the recoil climb to its max value beyond which it cannot climb, then you can track your target as if your gun had zero recoil. As for the combat AR, the recoil only climbs if you hold the trigger to spray. If you spam click, you can still achieve the same rate of fire (or slightly lower), and your reticle will not move at all. As long as you click for each shot, the recoil won't kick in. So next time someone effortlessly beams you with this gun, this is the reason.

Definitely wrong my guy. You can always improve on things with some practice. Whether it's in life in general or playing games. Can you accelerate the process by devoting more time obviously. But sometimes overdoing things can actually make it worse. Everybody's different.
