Actual Tank Commander plays War Thunder again where I evolve from reserve to top tier (or try to!), this time an entire tank lineup gets evolved but if they die too many times, it's all over! Will I make it to the top? Let's find out!

Hey Panzer, just a suggestion if you do this challenge for another nation, id suggest if you get more than 3-4 kills in a tank you should get an upgrade of your choice on any of the other vehicles you use in your platoon. That way you dont fall behind on certain vehicles like AA cause AA upgrade could be very sporadic due to the lack of enemy aircraft. Also if you end up doing planes it should be the same. Pls give this a like to those who agree 👍

We already have almost the entire roster of Australian tanks. Even the Australian versions of the centurion and Abrams. I think the only Anzac vehicle that we don't have is the Bob semple. If you know of any other vehicles that aren't just Australian crewed versions of allied equipment, then I'd love to learn about it.

@@Duskraven67 there's a wikipedia page for it, the only two interesting ones seem to be the "Yeramba self-propelled 25 Pounder" which was made by Australia out of a m3a5 so its pretty unique to them and the "leopard as1" based on the leopard 1a3 and modified in the same vein the M1A1 AIM so it would at least be a little unique. I don't know why gaijin refuses to add more lower leopard but I'd like a 1a3.

What we also need is an Aussie tank that isn’t a crew vehicle or premium, because I really don’t like naval and really want to get the Australian ace achievement (if it wasn’t obvious I’m a f2p player, I could play US but I’m doing a few other thing with squad research)

6:20 small tip, you can squad ping there and then ping it at the spot it shows on the map. this lets them know accurately where you're trying to ping. love this video concept btw

You could in the future put a hard cap on upgrades per game. Like, each game you can go up 1 rank max, any additional "score" can be shifted to other lines. That, or you can redestribute ONE vehicle's kills at a 2 to 1 ratio to another line. So if you need 2 kills for an upgrade, you'd need 4 for an upgrade of another line. This way it doesn't make it easy but makes it more manageable.

Cromwell V armor is unpredictable at best sometimes you get one shot by tiny guns other times you bounce a 122 HE shell at point blank and confuse an SU 122

Suggestion - restore lives when capturing/completing the game objective. This will incentivize some sort of aggression more for other players trying it, instead of trying to stay as safe as possible and just farming kills.

im confused as u change the rules, you got a kill in the terarch on the winter map but still didnt make a upgrade. in the intro its 2 assists = 1 kill but also dont do that. maybe i skipped it cuz i tapped a bit more through the video but its still confusing to change rules during the vid.

Nothing changed actually. 2 assists = 1 kill. But zero kill, zero assist deaths equal one life lost (out of 3). But it's 2 kills or equivalent to upgrade one level. So, just getting 1 kill basically means you save one life but you also don't upgrade.

Low tier Britain gets a good gun in the two pounder and clearly the 37 is decent as well, so I am not at all surprised you did well in the Stuart. British AA in game is rubbish. Until they added the Skink the only good AA in the line before the Falcon was the T17 Staghound. The 40 mil Crusader was only good at killing flanked Panthers at close range since it used to be 4.7. A22/Churchill was designed with the mindset that the fighting would be like the Western Front including the trenches, so you were not entirely wrong. Later marks are fine but the Mark I was pretty poor in reality too off the top of my head. Sad times for the Churchill knock out, the Mark III is the best one in the standard line since the six pounder can actually do damage and take hits as opposed to the Limey 75. Caernarvon off the top of my head was a stop gap until the Conqueror turret was ready. This seems interesting, if I were to do this I would likely run AA since my highest plane is the Harrier GR.3 and the ADATS is a better option for me. Since I have a lot of Limey ground premiums that would be the main difference in tanks selected, other than the SARCs I would avoid the South African vehicles where possible since I really do not like playing them. I would have to play the Charioteer though, that would not be fun.

Did the same thing with the A13 (3 kills - 2 upgrades) and the Tetrarch (3 assists - 0 upgrades). I think he just changed the rules in the middle either without realizing or without announcing. Seems he's running 2 kills = 1 upgrade.

there is something that could balance everything...... if one tank work well.. and reach .. faster the next br.. the extra kills.. before reach that same br.. could be given 1 upgrade for each kill to the next in line up.. so .. you could have better chances with them.. instead having a church.. and tetrach.. and ofc the light AA.. to carry up.. but that means that you needed more time to make a bigger video.. ahahahah!

I don’t know if this idea has been said yet but, instead of 2 assists counting as a kill for the tank your using they count as a kill for the platoon meaning you can upgrade any of the platoon tanks. Could be fun.

The rules for this are just kinda dumb, uptiering everything massively just makes it ridiculous. You should at the very least make it OPTIONAL to upgrade when you get enough kills, then intentionally balance the lineup, not just blindly go up several BRs too high in one line. But ideally just a whole different design concept that handles that more elegantly. Or maybe they do upgrade fully but higher tier vehicles can just sit out a battle so they don't uptier you but aren't available for that game. That way it doesn't drag out the challenge
