Several of the spiders in this game are from pokemon the one with the water part on it is based on Araquanid and the spider that's got the extra appendages on the back is based on Ariados.

If I'm seeing it right, the "pink spider-man spider" (the lvl 17 spider) appears to be a recolored Pokémon. Because it's design and animation seems very familiar... Edit: looked up "spider pokémon", the aforementioned spider is most likely an ariados model that's been ripped from one of the 3d games and recolored (seems the animation cycle was kept too).

For a game called Insect Evolution there is a distinct lack of insects, somebody clearly didn't do their homework when the only insect is a fly lmao. Great timing for this to come out though as just yesterday a good sized wolf spider decided to casually stroll into my kitchen and I say free pet ^^'. Yes, I did pick it up bared handed and that took a few tries because it didn't wanna touch me and yes I'm keeping it because I'm not brave enough yet to get a pet tarantula. One day though my beloved creepy crawlies 💙 Also RIP this game for ripping off a pokémon sprite, the recolored ariados is pretty obvious if you've played Pokémon since before that one existed, though I haven't played past Sun/Moon at this time and idk if I will, kinda lack a system to atm
