Tip: If you noticed how many blue surges there were when kasli came out? That’s because the enemy has something called surge retaliation, where if you use a surge on an enemy with that ability, they will basically reflect that surge back at your units (you can tell from the back orb that appears above the enemy). So it’s best to use surge immune units or don’t bring surge attackers at all when facing an enemy like this

Matt, the reason the malevolent islands were creating so many surges is because they had counter surge (indicated by that little purple ghost thing? that appears above the island), and since your dasli was attacking them with surge, they copied her surge and unleashed that onto your units.

Guys just use immune to surge units like Cactus and Talented Gato Amigo with some Erasers of choice,and your done,personally I will use Cone for that,also finally beaten Maleovant Jamaira and getting a achievement for that.Also this video look very much stupid,because I beat that stage first try,with only Diabolosa combo,in fact I beat all Ganglion the Calamity first try,honestly it's very fun,spamming rock lol

@PeaLabs I'm not sure,but you forgot units that are 'surge immune',sure they can't entirely beat the whole aku realms as there are raging Gory,but you actually can beat Jagando with only surge immune units.Use Phonoa,Cactus and Research Up combos,and attack up I there are spare slots to spam Cactus (i actually beat it first try,not even trying).I also believe I mention using Erasers,as they are the main defenders against rushers

Matt, here are a few things and tips I just wanted to say so you can have a better time playing Battle Cats: 1. Use. More. Meatshields. Sometimes it's enough to use just 2, but when you are playing a stage that has fast pushing enemies, 2 just won't do it. I reccomend putting dual erasers, they are the backbone of any good loadout. 2. Brainwashed Island is a top-tier anti zombie attacker, basically Manic Island but for zombies. Both are ok in general too, but better when used against their targeted traits. So, as soon as you can get Brainwashed Island, he will help ESPECIALLY for the Zombie Ants. Then they won't be such a pain in the ass :P . 3. When playing a stage try to look at how much value did some cats get (for an example while you were playing Malovelent Fish, you used Can Can who was not a good option since the Islands outranged her all the time). So next time when you see that a unit doesn't help, even though it might be your favourite, replace it. 4. Try to play some hard stages without the speed up. Sometimes timing is key and since you are playing on a pc (I think) it's very hard to spam all your units with the speed up (maybe that's why you don't use meatshields 🤔) 5. Cactus Cat (Evil Egg N003), Hitman Cat(Mystic Egg N005) and Chief Cat (Violet Egg N107) are all very strong egg units, so consider evolving them next (I reccomend Hitman he is BROKEN against traitless enemies). Also try to play battle cats more throughout the day since the behemoth stages appear multiple times a day and we all know you need behemoth stones. So just try to login every few hours in a day to check if the stage is available, if it is play one they don't take too long to do (if you know the strategy) and they are kinda fun. Alsooo you can use the event calendar (right next to your user rank) to know exactly when will a behemoth stage be available. I really love your videos and I have been watching them for I think over 5 years now. I hope my tips will help (maybe) and I would be very happy and honoured if you read my comment. Hey Matt, if you're considering evolving another egg after supercar, the next one that probably would be most recommended would be hitman, since he's effectively a pseudo epicfest Uber that's available in 4 crown restrictions, almost courier levels of broken against traitless enemies. Although, his biggest downside would be small inward piercing range, though it also means he can be stacked as well

Hi Matt,sage slayer was added after Zero Legend was added,you have more things to catch up,and never use expensive ubers that recharge slowly,and have high cost,it will not work.Also cheers to rock cat,cheers to rock cat.I would suggest even switching cannon to example Thunderbolt,it is good against the demon chicken.I also suggest you use Cat research up M or 2 S to keep spamming rock,I love using rock.❤

Hip Hop cat at level 50+70 has a damage and hp of 726750 so MattShea if you grind enough cat ticket stages your cat could do more damage all cats in game. not counting Eva units. edit: i forgot about massive damage so Hip Hop cat actually does 2,180,250 damage and has 2,180,250 hp. edit 2: i also forgot to add his/her initial damage of 38k and 38k hp so Hip Hop cat at level 50+70 has a hp and damage of 2,218,250.

Matt there is a new gall called Pegasa and she has the ability, conjure. It’s where your place the unit and the spirit thing can do a lil attack and the spirit pegasa has slows enemies. She is good against zombies and floating so a recommend her

If you get the legend rare daybreaker Izanagi it has the conjure ability which is ok. and the conjure ability does only let you deploy one time but a blue will highlight your cat when you want to use the conjure ability.

Hey Matt, I'm sure another commentor has already pointed this out but sage is a new enemy type introduced in zero legends most predominantly in the statue boss (I forgot his name) which makes the enemy take less effect from status effects ie: less knockback from kb effects. Hope that helps

You should try to get one of the new forth forms please I think the best one is the iron legion one it’s the catapult that has the forth form also the conjor ability is for the new legend rare and the new boss stage gives you the boss and he has the conjor ability too also the boss is a sage enemy they are annoying as hell
