Evony- Account update with generals and growth advice

Its crazy to me that Evony made the whole sorting system for generals... but it doesn't matter because its not there when you join rallies. Having to scroll past 40 generals to find your second baibars is so annoying. Like, if you put a heart on a general, it should move to the top

I paired Hannibal with Takeda Shingen and added books a couple of books for ground. So far it works for me.

Hannibal pairs with Maximillian I, who gives a 30% attack and defense buffs AND a 20% ranged debuff. Martinus pairs with Bertrand du Guesclin.

Hannibal + Li Jing or Martinus + Hannibal works...but you have to give up on the cav attack book of 25%. The gold book of Li and Martinus gray out to the cav attack book. For each Queen Jindeok i have a Shimazu...his 10% speed adds to the speed from skill books and Kings weapon. I was surprise and happy Attila + Amir work...the skill is same in description but different names. Such a help with plundering. If you dont have Attila...Constance has 20% load that works with Amir. I was using that until Attila came up on my tavern. Before the assistant function i sold off my first. Now i perfect dismiss every non ascended general i think will be great....Nero, Nathanael Greene, QJ, Oda Nobunaga, Amir and Ban Chao. May be the next video should be Gold Generals to save copies for when they become red star... Glad you made it to K40 and doing t15. Great video as always. never stop.

@@DG-iu8ck Theodora......I dont have access to her. For boss rallies i use Aetheflaed, Hannibal, Li Jing and Martinus as power leads and Nathaniel Greens(stamina management) as assistant. Theodora is great as well...can add a luck book to her.

Love your videos! In regards to the main skills requiring a dragon to activate, you can still activate them on an assistant general by adding a dragon to the assistant. For example, I use Elektra main, Simeon assist with double dragon and both generals main skills have been verified to add their additional ranged attack %. The caveat is that you don't gain any of the dragons boosts so you have to ask yourself if a dragon is worth 15% attack power. Hope that helps! Come say hi to Xwing Pilot on s1167!

Can you do a video on how you build your resources well at k38+ level? Is it just running multiple farms? What do you do on your main to help the rss gathering? Also, how do you handle storing the food for big upgrades? Max out alliance warehouse storage on food only for all your farms? anything else that can be done?

Main, rally...alts rally and farm combo...all alts shoul be food + ..if they arent kill troops and make siege that dont eat food

Hannibal pairs well with Theodora. I use the cav books on Hannibal and monster books in Theo. None of the books are shaded out. Hannibal mounted attack defense and hp. Theo the same for monsters.

I like that Auction as long as it's not too busy and I get booted out or get that red exclamation point. Picked up some level 7 Monarch gear which helps but when the VIP points were up for auction everything got glitchy so I missed out. There are some good things in the basic section sometimes as well if you check at the right time. I haven't opened any of the Monarch Gear Chests or the other Gear Packages in some time. I haven't decided whether or not to open them all or just a few at a time. I got kinda turned off after they changed the Monarch Gear Packages; we used to get 4,5,6 or 8 pieces depending on the variety. When I opened them they were just single items like the Monarch Gear Chest. Why they play around like that I don't know. If they're going to give Monarch Gear just offer it as individual pieces, Level 1,2 and 3. There is no need to have a chest, a package and single pieces when they are all offering the same basic thing.

I just hit K38. I'm working on Victory Column 2 so I'm trying to figure out how to get 6 generals over 5.8M. I know I can get five but six, for some reason, is hard for me. I do need to spec some of these generals so that might help. I have an issue cause I only have one level 10 dragon. I have a bit more civ gear than you but only a couple of pieces. I have a few pieces I have not made but it's the useless Han and most of my extra pieces overlap the same equipment spots so I can't use them to help. As for Hannibal, I like mine but I never speced him so he's out for my main cav general. I switched to Roland and I'm going to pair him with Zhao Yun. It sucks though - I have 6 extra Hannibals so I could easily ascend him as I get blood of ares. I'm still working on gear but I am pretty set on my PvP gear. Just time to fill out all my sub generals now.

hannibal has pvp books...horse speed, hp, attack.....athelflaed has whatever monster books she can hold...monster defense, monster ? or regular horse defense and march size

So what books are you using on Athel when you pair her with Hannibal? Me and a friend are building that exact setup for bosses. My friend has her ascended pretty far and I am one star with mine. What baffles me is wounded we get on a b14 running a 1 mil t14 rally but then I can run a 1.7mil t13 march at a behemoth and get zero wounded. However we do use the small attack buff feature while running rallies on bosses just because we have thousands lol. Still I’d like to know some good general pairings for big boss rallies when you find the time to respond, at least inform us about what books you run on Hanni and Athel. I have an athel that is ascended and shes the main with a baibars assistant....i have a non ascended athel (as ascension doesnt work for assistants) and she has the books hanibbal doesnt...whatever she can hold...march size, monster hp or defense and regular defense....then hanny has the attack hp, speed for pvp

I’m sorry but I have one more question. The guys are asking me about this. So you know how evony will automatically set the generals when you click attack on a boss monster? Say I want to hit a b12 with t12 troops and a b13 with t13’s I use a Barbie in kings or dragons gear and a double drop gen for b12 but when I click on a boss to attack does evony pick the best option out of all generals or how does that actually work? I’ve told them it don’t and they should always use their presets. I have Hannibal Paired with Maximilian and do fairly well but if I can put Athel with him that would be great. Trying to push a second general to 5.8m power. I really wish they would bring tyche wheel back I have 3.4k coins and loads of 20 frags from previous events I couldn't finish. If they brought it back I swear pushing for k36 would be easier for all of us which is why I know they won't. They want the k36>k40 to be for the selext few for a while longer. And if I'm going to remove my own bias..... I'd do the same if I was in charge, I get it.... it just sucks

Maximilian is a good assistant general for Hannibal. But also Hannibal works better as assistant of Martinus. Finally the dragon generals like minamoto, Elektra, Elise, Martinus, Ulysses grant are easier to find assistant generals.

I'm not sure if anyone knows this but if you have a general on your black market that will give you 140% increase in your tax 8400 gems will give you about 50M of the Pacific resource instead of 20M of the exact same if you get it in the black market Pacific doing tax give you more resources don't waste your gems on the resources in black market part just do the tax part the amount of gems you get from breaking the eggs will give you lots of gems my black market is at level 33 right now if it was at 35 it will give you more resources for doing tax

If you don't want to do a lot of switching. If you watch Singh's rallies, he is often changing gear for specifics. I think Miser also just uses Ares, some buff> no buff wrong buff

I know for me I use my T14 Ground and Range marches to Rally Monsters there not as strong as my T13 Mounted March but my Range March is pretty close. For example I am K37 and have done everything I can do to increase March size at my level and mounted T14 and T13 can both fill a March along with T14 Range and Ground then for my 5th March I use my T12 Mounted and my T11 mounted as my 6th march. I am about 1.3 Million VIP points away from VIP18 so don't have that 6th preset yet. But for example against hard level Vikings both my T14 and T13 Mounted can beat through lv50 without wounded my Eltra lead Range T14 Range March can beat through lv45 without wounded and my Elise lead T14 ground can clear through Lv40 hard Vikings without wounded. My T12 and T11 mounted fall off the pace some because air still need to increase thier troop numbers but I am saving resources to push the Holy Palace up 2 levels to 37 to help unlock the gate to K38 although it hurts my head to think about the resources nessary for that keep upgrade.

Scipio is a one truck pony for attacks only. He sucks at everything else but for years he was leaps and bounds better than Trajan which is why most people use him to date, they heavily invested in him and aren’t going to waste money to swap over.

Only ascend a cav general like Martinus (if you don't coin) with only pvp cav skill books and add him an assist gen with monsters cav skills books for pvm so you can switch him from pvp to pvm and not waste ascends on one type.
