One way to control the number of refining stones you use is to also not overbuild and refine armor types. I see a ton of kings swords here. For all of your farming generals you really only need 1 set of each type of kings armor (one of each weapon and no rings) that can be shared based on the type of rss being harvested. These can then be refined for the same rss boost as the piece (sword refined for 4 Stone speed boosts). If you have them, fill in the extra 2 slots with dragons( no harvest refinement needed) for an additional harvest speed boost. Once Jin is on the tile, she should be switched to champions armor for the extra rss boost. The champion set needs no refinement or stars. This will also save you a lot of higher level materials to make more advanced armor.

How should I be thinking of sub-city-general Achaemenian gear refining? I've heard mixed things. Do the attack/defend/hp stats work or is it just the sub city skills?

Hello. Can you say what is the difference between refines that have percentages vs refines that have numbers, for example you click on a refine and one refine comes out 250 out 1-300, vs. instead of 14% out of 1%-15%

Miser, please answer. Aka reckons that if you divide what you have by the max, anything above 0.8 should be kept (would be a 20% refine??) e.g. 250÷300 is 0.83 so keep

I did a noob (because i am one) mistake... I did refining as we enhance the general. I accepted first few refines before i realised my mistake. Is there any way undo my mistake? its genera's spear, now with refining attributes it has ground attack, march speed to monsters, ground troop and march speed to monster (%).

That's fine. You don't need to delete any refines (there's no way to do that anyway). You can just do new refining and it will replace your current ones.

Nope. However, they don't scale upwards. So a 19/20 refine would become a 19/25.

I figured out the answer on my own. They do transfer but dragon item refinements max out at 20%. Ares refinements go up to 25%.

IMO the worst and most expensive mechanic the game seems to have. I just hate the way it eats up gold and stones and is totally random in results. Thank you for the tutorials, they really make a difference in the game enjoyment!

Great video! Bro, I would keep that 13.6% as the first. I went through kings refine quickly and accepted anything that is over 9%. Need to save those stones for ARES and ACHAE gears It's crazy that you get 2 stones from a boss, but need 200 to do one refine refresh. Oof.

Absolutely. Depends on your priority. I choose to be really picky on the first and second because it affects you in the long term. I despise the refining system tbh. For example, I blew through almost 8k refine stones trying to do Norway Ridge (100 at a time refreshing all 4 slots). 8k stones and not a single useable refine. Refining system definitely needs to be redesigned or stones need to be dropping 10 at a time instead of 2.

Hello not sure if you still respond or not but I am a free to play player and I don’t see myself getting the ares or dragon gear anytime soon in the future so I wanted to start refining kings set for boss monster attacks then later work on the dragon or ares set for pvp .. should I not waste my stones at all on the kings set and just wait it out?

You might do some light refines but don't invest in it too strongly. Everything will be obsolete in not too long.

It's situational. On wall generals flat are generally better. On pvp it depends on the rolls and enemy debuffs but generally % will outperform for higher tier marches.

Ideally what should be the good number of slots for Farms, Sawmill, Mine, Quarry and War camp that is going to help for future growth. ? Also in this priority to be given to what ?

Do you want to focus on archers or siege? If archers, consider maxing out your lumber mill, build 1 farm, 1 camp, and maybe 3-4 mines, and the rest quarry. If the opposite, switch quarry and lumber mill. This makes better use of your % increases in production. You can focus your gathering on the resources you find you lack.

It costs 2000 gems to change cultures but I believe you get 1 free change in the early game. It looks like a passport in your inventory.

You definitely want to gear your generals. Refining is important, but keep in mind that dragon gear upgrades to ares gear eventually, so don't blow all your refining gems on that. Definitely do some to be competitive, though.

I suggest refining a bit when you obtain dragon gear, but save the majority of your stones for when you start to unlock ares and aech gear because the cap will be higher and you'll achieve better refines.

Shajar is excellent, but you need to make sure you set her up as a proper wall general. Don't just put her on the wall naked.

You craft gear in the forge. The level of the forge needs to meet or exceed the required level for the set you are trying to craft. For the top sets, you need to acquire scrolls from farming higher level bosses before you can craft an item. Yes, you should refine King's gear for gathering but not necessarily all the pieces. Just the ones that increase gathering speed.

Refining stones limited? We must be playing a different game. I have so many of them, they fill up my whole screen with items. Refining stones are not the problem. You need a s***load of gems to refine properly. And gold too. I don't even bother refining King's gear, only Dragon's and above. Whatever comes up from the 1st attempt is good for the King's gear

Probably different levels of play. When you are constantly trying to improve your buffs on gear rather than saving for better upgrades, refine stones run out really, really quickly. I feel like I go through approximately 10k+ a month.

This game is too expensive. Doesn't value the players time enough. The rewards are laughable. If you're not dropping at least 1000 a week, you're gonna be ridiculously behind

I occasionally spend $5 on this game but I can gather over 100 million resources every 24 hours with very little effort and time. Boss monster's and common monsters provide speed ups. What keep level are you at? I'm at keep 31 at the moment but I will be at keep 32 in the next month roughly

@@coreythompson1466 33 at the moment. And still quite behind. The gathering is ok IF you have jindeoks. And you have to hope you're on a server that allows gathering. The bosses don't provide enough speeds or rss. Over a year worth of speeds needed to upgrade at higher levels. Absolutely ridiculous

Not to mention if you want to build troops, or dress a general. Or feed your dragons. The economy in this game is simply awful
