I followed your guide and hold out refreshing till tavern level 30. I spent 220k gems and I got 3 Jindeok, 2 Baibars, 2 Nathanael Greene, 4 Andrew Jackson, 2 Cixi and about 10-15 generals that I needed for general hall. I will never have to look back at tavern ever again lol

Selecting both checkboxes only stops on Epic Historic. I am not sure if it was always like that or if it changed but you should select both.

There are a few different kinds of wings. There's the svs one (achieve top 5 in SVS). There's the monarch wings from being King of the server twice. There are a few others that are harder to get. To check out decorations and requirements, click on your keep and choose decorations.

coupla questions , what skills would you use on a minamoto ? and .... wtf is ranged troop range skill ? like ... they stand further back ? is that important somehow ?

Minamoto should have march size, ranged def, and then ranged +range or ranged hp. Range +range allows your ranged troops to attack earlier (so you attack the enemy before they attack you since you can fire first).

01:40 Talks about requirements. 500mil+ is suggested, but it depends on how many generals you need. The tavern has been updated recently, so I'd actually recommend more so you can pick up some of the great pvp gens that are in there now.

Was thinking of selling mine til watched this vid. Lol. I'm at 80m (was 100m til two days ago when i was pretty much zeroed by a 2.5m), However, this vid has inspied me and I just happen to have enough rss to upgrade the tavern to 29 and a truck load of gold and gems to do the tavern refresh thing... Started playing 55 days ago. I play every day and started using Miser's advice about 20 days ago. Currently at keep level 20. Crazy eggs, active alliance, and collecting all of the daily free items in the tavern activity helped.

I'm at 7 months and k28. Admittedly I don't know what I was doing for about 3 months, so with proper monarch gear usage and resource spending I'd say six months is reasonable.

I would save up skill books for the generals you plan to use.

I see many comments about this being unrealistic for non coiners and yea it does take time but im a K29 (i will be K30 in 4 days when speedup event starts) and im also f2p. That said i completely agree its defenitely doable if you know how to get gems. Imo the best way by far will be playing battlefield (constantinople,gaugamela,chalons) wednesday will be gaugamela/chalons and saturday will be constantinople. Chalons is defenitely the best but only available a few times. So not counting chalons you will have this amount of gems in about 3 weeks (maybe even less since this is only counting battlefield while there are more ways). You however do need to be in a top20 alliance so join one thats active but also be careful not to join something like #1 because they might not invite you because there are better players out there (20 players can be invited, 25 for chalons) my alliance is 14th of my server but there are usually max 5 players joining so a lower top 20 will probably have plenty of space for you. If you insist on creating your own alliance keep in mind it will drasticly hamper your progress for a long time so only do that if you really want to. But long story short, if you join a top 20 alliance thats willing to take you to boc and bog you can do this in 3 weeks probably even less

These will all work as sub generals. Over time, consider changing Nero to something else as -hp isn't general too effective.

Baibars blows. Can't take the luck book. For rally joining, see these 2 pairs side by side: Baibars/Nathanael Greene - 25% luck 25% stamina reduction 3 star sanada or spartacus/Nathanael Greene- 28% luck (10% from ascension, 18% from luck book 4) 35% stamina reduction + some free march speed and monster stat reduction. And yes, 3 star purple general is a fair comparison - it's easier to find than Baibars and costs no blood of ares to ascend. Baibars is fucking terrible. Not saying don't pick him up if you're short on Nathanael Greenes, but he's a stop-gap -- not the goal.

It's not exactly a daily thing. If you are not spending gems for much other than just a 3 day bubble, you should be able to save up. Depends on your priorities. There are plenty of things to spend gems on in the game. Just have to decide what is more important for you at the time. When I was that size it would take about two months to save up the gems required for this, and it all gets blown in one go. . At my size now, gems come a bit more easily.

186000 is not a million. It is entirely possible to save up the required gems without spending on the game. It does require patience and the resilience to not spend gems on non-essentials. As an example, look at the VIP level of the account in the video. The gems didn't come from spending. Being in a very active alliance is a huge source of gems through many events. An active keep 28-30, which is the target of this video, should be able to accumulate 100k-200k in a month or two depending on the activity level of the alliance. At the same time, if this is too difficult for you, your best source of generals might be fragments.
