Sub gen gear- all courageous Ach/Parthian (EXCEPT fearless pants). Star your sub gen gear; but refining sub gen gear is a waste, for the reasons you stated. Buffs on sub gens only buff the troops they bring. Save refines for attacking or wall generals. You are doing great! The subtleties are numerous, it's a tough game. King's gear gets up to 20% refines/ Ach-Dragon can gets up to 25%, Civ is up to 30%. Flats do not increase for Civ gear. That is why (as a low coiner), I don't use Civ on my wall.

rebirt not only one skill increasing survival rate, also sub 4th skill gives another 10%, also some researches, some gerals' ascending and specialities and holy place, but oposite side has wounded to dead skills on generals and researches. that's why you could have 0 survived when opposite side has more % on dead than your survival rate

But wait, wouldn't flat tefines everywhere make morse sense because they cant be debuffed attacking and defending?

That’s not a bad option, but % refines are worth a lot more for the higher tier troops. And if you are higher than their debuffs, it adds a lot more for your attacking marches than refines.

...but if you know that you are going to be debuffed, why not just avoid it all together?? 30% perfect attack buff on civ gear gets debuffed, but 1800 flat refines attack doesn't? No?... has anyone ever tested a fully flat attack buff general?

@@mikep509 I haven’t but that is what a lot of siege generals use for siege bombs. They are sending in t11 marches and it works. I think it could work.

@@Jedi-Temple I'm using Elektra and Kaguya as a hybrid seige/range attack general, the gear and some of the refines have been flats on seige and it's a pretty effective to be honest... I'm sending 500k T12 ranged, 125k T13 ranged, 200k T12 seige, 120k T13 seige ... 3k each tier range below that and 2k each seige tier below that with 500 each other units.... I'm k34 now

@@mikep509 interesting. I’d love to see those reports. I see guys trying siege and range mixed marches but haven’t seen it succeed yet. But I’m sure they are using it for a reason.
