The problem your seeing, with Hannibal or similar type generals is the wording on gold skill book. "Leading army" vs "leading army to attack"

Boudicca is awesome, there is a reason a lot of us in c1/2 are using her. Nice Cav hp from her plus she's available in the tavern so multiples for ascension are less cost prohibitive than gens only available in packs.

Boudica is an HP and Def master. Also most wall gens tested work, just how despite wording, Shajar skill as assistant works but clearly states as "main city defense general"

I believe the wording 'main' Wall General refers to the buff only working on your city wall and not in your subs. It pre dates assistant Gens so I have no doubt it works for an Assistant Wall Gen.

I noticed about a week ago that the main skill for wall gens did not glow to show they was active when placed as an assistant and wondered this myself after seeing other players pairing gens like Marshall and Leonidas. GK confirmed it for me that it actually does, but with your assessment on my matter it really helps me have that certainty that it does and makes me feel much better about my decision to Purchase Leonidas also. Him and Marshall are my dream team defense bundle 😍

Same here 😍 I already got marshal from "trail of knights", waiting for the chance to get Leonidas, but as a f2p my only option is the event But I was wondering if late game strategy to only focus on seiges for defense, isn't it better to get Leo as an assistant for marshal instead of Leonidas, I plan once I hit k35 I'll be ground heavy for a while so I need ground defense 😢 I'm really confused on this 😷

Dewey an Boudica work as a combo without main skills interfering I use Marshal an Leonidas now but I changed how I defend now.

Yea just the skills you can go into details and look at the wall def and you only get power from the main wall gen

And the difference between Martinez and the rest Martinez is just leading the army the rest of the generals were leading the Army to attack

please test marshall with leonidas

I have seen reports with both together and they are REALLY good, but harder to Ascend.
