Evony plays favourites again- different generals for servers

Weird..325 does not have Edward III in tavern. Why? So strange. And when was the event that introduced this Zucca general? Never seen him anywhere but on list of special generals.

Server 1139 (new) has Edward but not Theodora. I’m sad by this because I did get her through first purchase but I have no way to upgrade her. I’m not sure I would upgrade her over Roland, but I still love her anyway as a grinding General because of the drop buff. I’m really confused by this approach from Evony. I’ve seen other games limit some availability based on VIP level, but by server? I don’t really see how this benefits them.

No. Just no. They don't have to test anything out. Make the general release the general. It absolutely does not matter if players will buy him or not. Once 1 server has him are they gonna take him away from those that get him? If not then once again I say, no. Let's use baseball. What if the Yankees have to hit a ball the size of a grapefruit and the Mets have to hit a ball the size of an orange. The game is officially different for 1 team because they have a clear advantage.

You know, I would not be surprised if this could just be explained by Hanlon's Razor - they screwed up their patching and that server just ran with the last summoning general instead of the new one. Still bad, but maybe not intentional

Never put it past EVONY to milk something for all it's worth - prime example, Civ Gear. While I agree it may be "test marketing" to see what sells best, it may also be that they're offering Ludwig AGAIN, to servers who spent heavily on him, that they know will sell packs again. This is the one strategy they've failed to use (to date). EVONY could have made way more money, but not offering so many new generals, items and events all at once. There would have been more people continuing to spend to fully ascend generals, for example, to get to the 5th commie star versus just one or two commie stars.

I lucked out and got Edward 3 in the weirdest way possible, an epic general scroll from wheel of fortune (the non generic gold scroll that usually gives me trash gold generals). So now switching back to Simeon 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I'm on evony_rc, test server 2. Though yes, it is quite quiet there thesedays.. we still get the full huge coiner experience for free...every 4 hrs BoG is basically equivalent to allstars. 185b players..148b players...etc. I have to say..I still prefer it to "live", get the best gens ..best gear..best everything...totally free. But if you want to talk favorites.. I have sent hundreds of tickets proving certain players point trading every svs. ALWAYS get the same automated response.. "our project team is investigating this matter". nothing ever done because they are huge coiners... and Viet. Evony is actually pretty racist to be honest.

Genghis if you really want to talk about evony showing favoritism i can show you some screenshots from cs lmao, we hit colt at the end of this last svs with a weak rally we threw together at the last minute, red circled, and when it came back we had reports from the rally. And dead troops we couldnt revive with source of life and no scores added to svs, they compensated colt almost immediately, but have been telling me that they will not compensate our losses
