Great vid, can you explain why you think Josepth Johnson is the best defensive General? I have him and havent leveled him up much while I decide on him...as I already have a well developed wall general, and I figured if I was going to change, I might as well wait for the best...I was waiting for the trap triggering guy, Ly Thuong....why do you think Johnson is better? thanks...

Although trap triggering can be good, those active and larger players tend to have thier traps killed often in Battlefield and so don't get much use out of them. If this wasn't an issue traps still end up not being as effective as troops mostly. The general you mention is still a pretty good general and is used often as is tran dao (if you have lots of siege). However Joseph E Johnson has very high General Specialty Buffs in comparison to most if not all generals (around 170% total). In addition to his ranged and siege buffs he has by default he is a great general, used by a large majority of big players at the moment

Increasing range on defence generals may not be the best idea. Traps set the range on defence. Trap range in 1500. Increasing Siege range will allow them to outrange the traps but equipping extended range on archers will only increase their range to 600, which is far less than the trap range. Just something to consider.

This is correct and is why you see more players using only the siege, rarely only range increase for archers. However you do see a lot of players still using both, which of course does not mean it is the best practice but it is not like it is outright useless for players

Wayne Yessir I thought the idea of adding range bonus was to enable archers to engage their primary targets (mounted) sooner and thereby weaken incoming mounted defense, no?

In all general there's basic skill like increase maouted troop attack 20% or others. Is it auto activated or we need to activate it by combining with others skills?

All skills work without any input from the player, provided you are using it in the way the skill says. For instance if you were to use a general that has a skill saying "against monsters" but use it against a real player, of course it will not work.

Quick question. Do you think the viking event is worth the hassle? The rewards just doesnt seem to be worth the effort especially in terms of troops. Would like to hear what you think.

It is absolutely worth giving a try! If you are a smaller player it may be harder to complete the event, however you can have other alliance members complete it for you using the "ask for help" button. Also using mounted only against vikings will allow you to have an easier time killing them and you shouldn't lose troops against a viking for a few levels at least, if you cannot do a level with wounding troops then it may not be an idea to continue with alliance help

i recommend at least level 23, although the higher the better chance of getting many good generals without having to spend huge amounts of gems

i am looking for someone who makes videos from the beginner's level. and specially for those who don't buy packages. but everyone makes videos for the people who are already upgraded to a higher level. I think you should make videos for each building or each topic in detail. easiest and fastest ways to improve. and for that specific video stick to that topic only.. i strongly thing that this game is made for only for those who buy packages. and those who don't this game tooooo slow for them. they are just there in the game to be the easiest targets for paid members.

I have various videos on my channel that offer tips on this, your number one focus should be researches in military branches of the academy building. You may cultivate, level and gear generals. An important option to try is refining yellow/red gears that you obtain for % stat increases for 100's of percentages extra stats. I currently do not have up to date guides on all options for buffs but when i can get time i will provide more information on this topic. If you have specific questions i can get back to you with answers here on youtube.

How to beat a player who attacks and defends himself mainly with archers ?

ground troops will be best if you have a good amount of them, along with trajan scipio etc for a general (good with ground troops). If you are not equipped for this try to team up with other players from your alliance and simply use archers/siege as well. If this player has millions of troops do be aware sometimes it is better to suicide a march first (of archers) to clear mounted troops, because they may kill a lot of your ground troops quickly.

I was doing the undead invasion on Sunday and found that my troops were taking a lot of damage and only made it to level 15. The last 2 weeks I cleared level 20 and the only deference I can think of was that there was a dragon on my defense general does the dragon make a difference? thanks

The dragon does make a difference, depending on the dragon, its level, refines and so on. Also as you level your keep up the undead will become harder, so if you had upgraded this recently it may explain why

How can i build a alliance banner

You go to your alliance tab, alliance buildings and click the alliance banner option which will take you to the world map where you can place the banner. Then you will have to wait one hour before you are able to start upgrading it, you may do this by clicking on it and making sure you reinforce it with at least 2M power worth of troops also! You must keep your troops there until the building is completed and if you complete it in under 24 hours then it will be successful, if it disappears you have run out of time and need to try again with more troops
