Very nice video! The rear tight leg room is a deal breaker for our family. We enjoy the generous leg room in the rear in our 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV. We grew fonded of some quirky features available in that Bolt: sunroof, heated rear seats, wireless android auto and apple car play, ventilated and heated front seats, automatic lights, automatic rain sensors activating both front and rear windshield wipers, adaptive cruise control (could not find a car with super cruise), wireless phone charger which works and doesn't heat the phones, front and rear high def cameras, separate rear camera using rear view mirror as a display if flicked, useful if a tall passenger seats in the back seat in the middle. However Volvo has more comfortable seats, better DC charging, maybe better handling.

Thanks for watching! You are 100% corrrect in listing the many many features of the Bolt EUV, a vehicle which I really loved especially for it's value prop. Hoping the new and improved 2026 Bolt EV will have all this and Ultium-based batteries for more range and faster charging!

Great review Ken. Having owned three Volvo's in the past they’re still producing lovely cars, but with two growing grandkids it’s a little small for me. 😅

Great show buddy and very nice Volvo ex30 and love the rooftop and not too big or too small vehicle.

Great review! Since VW doesnt appear to want to bring out an e-GTI anytime soon, this apppears to be a good alternative despite it being a x-over.
@EVRevolutionАй бұрын
Appreciate the feedback, and you are right about the lack of the e-GTI!

The EX30 has gotten great reviews for all the reasons Ken lists. It is too bad it falls in the SUV category rather than the hatchback category. We need smaller and more efficient EVs and the EX30 is a step in the right direction. It is a really nice package. BTW, I rented a Model 3 for a week in Ontario and it was the easiest car to drive well, I've ever driven. The one pedal driving and seamless power delivery plus flat cornering made it a real pleasure to tour in - highway or city. I guess these attributes are common to most EVs but the Tesla absolutely got the balance right.

It's basically a hatchback with generous ground clearance. It has roughly the footprint of a VW Golf.

Very cute car but too small. I guess some people could be happy but not for me. Thank you for the review.

Good job, Ken! Are those finally on sale in Canada? Can we see them at the dealerships? Can we test drive one?
@eajohnson2 ай бұрын
Yes, yes, and yes. I bought one in Ottawa.

Can you show us where the NACS charge port is, manufacturer’s have had more then enough time to convert.
@EVRevolution2 ай бұрын
Hi, NACS port will most likely be in the same location as current CCS port. Adapters will be available soon.
@universeisundernoobligatio32832 ай бұрын
@@EVRevolution The only place for CCS charge ports should be is in a museum or an electronic surplus store, not on any new EV's. Adapters should also be there.
@EVRevolution2 ай бұрын
@universeisundernoobligatio3283 Well eventually they will be!
