Thank you for this. I hate wiring unless it’s stereo related. I just installed my shrader rear seat delete and I hate it. So I bought the last red rear upper covers from east coast Holden. And seats are going to go back in. Not soon enough.

I used to until I learned to solder and got a decent crimper. The diagrams are still intimidating but actually doing the wiring can be fun. I've always wondered what the point of the rear seat delete is, just to have a flat spot to put stuff? I mean, I guess that's a benefit. Just put stuff on the seat. Lol

@@evsnova74 I’ve gotten too fat to be able to enjoy under the dash time anymore 😳 The tops of my seats were torn at the seams bad. Delete saves over 30 pounds too. I can’t wait to get my new leather. East Coast Holden has sold out before that’s why I bought the delete. But once I put it in I hate it so much I went and looked again and they had one so I bought it. Red of course

If nothing else, I learned two things. first, the best way to get that fuse panel cover to seat. And second, That I will never go about installing gauges the way you did.. even though the GTO is sorely in need of oil pressure and volts. I don't understand why Pontiac scrimped on a couple monitors that would have impressed the American rodders. for just a few bucks more.

They come standard with Lux models, and HSV models in Australia and New Zealand

Did you get that obd2 adapter with the mavman gauges? Bc I did not receive this with my oil and volt gauge from mavman and was under the impression it was plug and play for 05 gto and not to cut into wires 😬...

That's a pass through connector that came with the aem wideband gauge. You have to somehow get CAN high and low with these gauges. I didn't cut and what I did would work without the aem wideband

@@420tommyd1 I should mention that there's another way of getting lighting that will actually dim with the dash cluster. My oil pressure gauge does not dim using the smoker's package circuit.
