Impressive picking! I just acquired a Zeiss Ikon System M, but seeing your very technical picking and gutting makes me not wanna try to pick this lock for a while.

Thank you! And yeah I hear you on both counts: quite a few tools used, and they clearly did not intend for these locks to be easily gutted and rekeyed 🤣 When you are ready, there are 3 things to look out for: 1) It's easy to brick the lock with the key control mechanism, but also easy to recover. Though that doesn't make it feel any better when you first brick it. (I acquired mine in a bricked state, so at least I didn't have to confront this fear!) 2) Need to be careful with the plastic tabs. Always pry at the thickest parts. It's tempting to pry at the thin parts, since it's easier to take off this way, but they will break after doing this a few times. 3) The rotors can get mixed up. I got that magnetic flux film to note the field orientation for each rotor, so when I place them too close together on the tray at they all ball up, I can sort them out pretty quickly.
