Thank you for the comment on the presentation. To achieve that level: practice, practice, practice. One way to exercise is to emulate (replicate) the same graphic you liked with the tool of your choice. Pay attention to all the details, question why they are there in the first place, why would the developer go about them. This thought process cements to care about these "small details".
