Few games can match the level of frustration I felt at times with this game as a naive 9-year old. All of those times I wanted to chuck my Wii Remote at my wall, (Thumbs if you're also thinking of 9-7), but definitely good times, though.

The fact that he makes mistakes makes this the best speedrunvideo I've ever seen. You truly see he has worked very very hard to achieve this and still he is not a goddish robot who clears all cources without making any faults. This is much more exciting to watch because you see how he is actually killing it and you know he can screw it up any time, it feels much more real. It also inspires many other people to try this because it is "beatable". All other video's like this you watch are like; "this was perfect", he beat it and now no one else can beat it, here it's not that case, you can learn a lot more things in this video. You only need to do 13 levels to complete the game. 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 5-1, 5-2, 5- Castle, 5-4, 5- Ghost House, 8-1, 8-2, 8-7, 8-Airship, And 8-Bowser. So the fastest speed run would take about 30 minutes. But you did 100% so.. why did I write this comment

@@happyyt266 Ok so you know the red mushroom where you have to match up correctly to get that power, well I searched online and theres actually a cheat sheet with all the combinations, I suggest when you go into one you choose the bottom right 3 since they will never out you, and then see what powers they are and compare them to the cheat sheet until you find the right one, been using this for many months and I always manage to get all of the powers, some cheat sheets also have the world specifications which is helpful, enjoy :)

I simply cannot imagine the amount of time and effort this guy put into this game. I mean every move he makes is meant to cut down on time, not just within each level, but also the order he plays the level in. For example, this guy intentionally leaves 2-2, 4-3 and 6-6 till the end, so he can get the mini mushroom to speed through all these levels before going to world 9. These are just something that normal people can’t do. It takes tremendous amount of talent, repetition, planning, and hundreds if not thousands of hours of trial and error to get to this point. Congrats on your accomplishments, you certainly deserve more recognition!

I PLAY MARIO WII (original Mario Wii) ON A WII U ITS A NEW LG 60 INCH TV THERE'S A DELAY JUMPING...I PRESS JUMP, & A SPLIT SECOND LATER MARIO JUMPS....KEEP GETTING KILLED. THE CONTROLLER SOUND TELLS ME I'M DEAD B4 THE TV SOUND DOES. I THINK ITS A TV DELAY THING.....HIGHLY FRUSTRATING ON A MARIO GAME. ANYONE HAD THIS ? I THINK IT'S THE LG TV PLEASE COMMENT.... See if your tv has a "game mode". Modern TVs do a lot of processing to the image to try to make it look better, but it adds a slight delay before you see it. You can also search online about display lag :)

Ah, the good days... I still remember when i was younger, and played this... I played for hours every saturday, but the level after Lemmy's tower in world 3 was a pain for me to beat. I collected every single Star Coin in the game. I dont play anymore, but when I see the box of the game, I feel happy from inside :')
