Dr. Vivek Verma is an experienced Orthopaedic oncologist trained at the premier cancer institute in India, Tata Memorial Cancer Centre Mumbai, and has worked at MIOT Hospitals, Chennai. He is currently heading the division of musculoskeletal (Orthopaedic) surgical oncology at Max Hospitals. Accompanying him is Dr. Rashmi Shukla, a senior consultant, radiation oncologist with a particular interest in musculoskeletal disorder. Ewings sarcoma is the second most common malignancy in childhood cancer, and as it’s a systemic disease it needs multimodal management. In this video, Dr. Vivek and Dr. Rashmi discuss the approach to such cases and their management.
