Ewol Samo Free after 5 Years Behind Bars

Chicago rapper & Rico Recklezz affiliate Ewol Samo is a free man again after being behind bars since March of 2017.
Samo, who is a part of fellow Chicago rapper Rico Recklezz’s ‘Recklezz Renegade’ music camp, announced his freedom with a post on Instagram (@Ewol_Samo) on Friday January 14. The caption reads: “They took me, booked me, chained me, locked me, convicted me, and tried to stop me. But what they never ever could do was defeat me! Now it’s time for retribution!”.
Later the same day he went live to speak to his supporters.
Chicago artist EBK Juvie also posted Samo multiple times to celebrate his return.
Samo also posted to his IG story on the same day he announced his release with footage of him already back in the studio recording some new music.
