Ewrap inTwo Stitch Loom Knit

This is a very pretty stitch that knits up small and is good in the brim of a hat or all on its own. i discovered it in March of 2018.. Here are links to cast on and bind off I use.

I've been watching your stitch videos and since there are so many great ones to choose from, I decided to make a patchwork blanket using squares of each stitch and sewing them together.

I’m using this stitch for a scarf and it’s beautiful! It’s a flat piece and I used an even number of pegs and alternated rows so every other row there was one peg on each end that I wrapped by itself instead of wrapping with another peg. I’m using a bulky yarn and it’s just gorgeous ❤️

Unfortunately, I have found that I can't keep my stiches loose enough doing the whole row. My solution was to try knitting them over after each wrap instead of going all the way around then going back to wrap. Because I have an uneven number of pegs, this works perfectly! My stitches are not tight at all and I can stop at any time and easily pick up where I left off. If anyone else has trouble with theirs being too tight try knitting over both pegs as soon as you wrap them instead of doing a whole row of wraps and then going back to knit them over.

But did you first cast on a knitting stitch like you do when you wrap each peg all around like you do at first with the purl stitch pulled into a long loop and used to wrap around each peg in the beginning

I watched your video. Can you help me clarify that 2 stitches together then you go over 1 peg and go it again. 3rd row. Do you then go over 1 peg and start the pattern again. Every row you go move over 1 peg. I would like to make a hat with this. I just got my multi loom so maybe the 3/8 i could do a 40 loom. I usually like the 41 peg yellow kk. I love your videos. I have learned alot

You need to alternate the two pegs you wrap together each row.

BTW, do you have any patterns in which you knit gloves? I am wanting to make gloves using this " fuzzy" yarn I have which is labeled as 6 weight, super bulky yarn that I'm wanting to make a pair of gloves with. Thank you either way. God Bless you and yours.

yes you can use it on a blanket and I dont know what you are comparing it to but the easiest way is to do swatches of it and the stitch you usually use and see.

not sure what you mean here. this stitch is complete as it is. if you mean use this one as a brim then ewrap as the body of the hat then it would work fine.

Yes that is what I was asking doing the brim im the e wrap im two stitch and then just the normal e wrap for the body

@@catherineportland503 I am taking care of a husband who has ALS and he is getting bad fast.I am doing what i can and may not be doing as many videos for a while as my plate is so full and time so limited. I am trying to get out as many stiches as i can as i may not be doing videos much longer at all. I may or may not come back depending how my life changes after.

I clicked on this link (above) and found a page full of stitch patterns, but can not find THIS stitch pattern. How do you do this as a flat panel? Still an even no. of stitches?

I have never done a flat panel with this stitch on it own. i have mixed it with other stitches on one flat panel i am working on. When I did I used odd pegs or even. With even pegs you need to vary it by wrapping only one peg instead of two on the first and last peg in the row to get the alternating row. I have used it as a brim in a number of my hat patterns on youtube.
