Awesome! I studied the Bible for years and because I wanted to evangelize, I ended up being one of Jehovah's Witnesses. The more I went through the Bible, which they are really dedicated to, the more I realized there were problems with their doctrine. I ended up in a dead-end, just confused, and the Watchtower had a pretty good hold on me. Then I saw Mother Angelica praying the Rosary on EWTN. I thought the show was weird, as I had very little exposure to Catholicism. But I thought I could try doing that, I could try that prayer. When I prayed the Rosary, the entire Catholic Church with all the Saints downloaded into my soul like a computer program. That's the only way I can describe it. That was over five years ago, I have prayed the Rosary without fail daily since then. I never thought about the Witnesses again.

Awesome, a word overused now but completely appropriate for your story!

Christ in the Eucharist! IF you have not, consider going to Adoration of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. Call your local parish and find out when they offer it. Then, just go and sit in silence in Christ’s Presence. Take your bible. Read scripture, pray, contemplate. Tell the Lord of your search for truth, of your doubts, worries, even fears. Then, be as patient with Him as He has been with you. When you receive the grace to know that HE IS THERE, you will be forever changed. Miracles occur in Christ’s presence - of that I can personally attest.

sent my sons thru Catholic boy's HS here in San Diego, CA, and years later they are still grateful for their teachers that brought the RCC and Faith alive to them, and definitely steered their moral choices later on, and if anything, the school and faculty made my parenting super easy

Thank you, Mr. Mason, for being so honest about your substance abuse lifestyle & showing how it really & truly does not bring happiness. Please continue to share your story, especially with our young people. God, have mercy on us. Thank you for being here !

AMAZING testimony! Thank you so much for sharing your story, Michael! I have passed this video on to family and friends- hopefully it goes around the world! My husband and I live here in Charlotte, but we are from Cincinnati and used to attend St. Gertrude of Madeira, so we know all the places you are talking about and it made it even more special to hear your story. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!

What a powerful testimony from Michael! His testimony of vulnerable times in his hs and college life is what so many of us fallen away Catholics and Christians have experienced but it does not get spoken of enough. If every college student across the country and world could hear more stories like this, so many young adults would be converted. This was beautiful and I pray that so many young adults sitting in their dorm rooms will come across this episode and be transformed by Michael’s testimony. I know I would have benefited from hearing this during my college years and I know so many people who lived the same lifestyle and could be pivotal in converting someone’s life to Christ. I pray God will continue to bring more souls like Michael to college campuses. All young people want to hear, like Michael said, is that they are not alone in their vices and they are not being spoken down to. Thank you for your honesty about drinking and partying. Many of us have been in your same footsteps. May God be praised 🙏🏼

Awesome. And I read Beaumont’s book, Evangelical Exodus. Excellent book. Edit: Just opened up the book. Your story , Michael, is in there too!
