Here at the border it is Asia, India, Africa, so not only from the south of the Americas. Funding should go to the countries & communities to build employment opportunities, safer neighborhoods, medical & schooling facilities. Another is here in CA all are eligible for Medi-Cal, whereas citizens are trapped into the CA healthcare system with high co-pays & mo premiums * this should be open to all state residents regardless; when this happens this does bring out human emotion of negativity

@@sA-ny2jl I was losing my house due to the Covid eviction moratorium when the government urged tenants not to pay rent, so the tenant in my basement apartment did not pay rent and utilities for 2-1/2 years. When the moratorium was lifted and the government started paying the tenants' arrears, it designated Catholic Charities to help in distributing the money. Catholic Charities refused to help me because "my tenant and I lived in the same address." To stop the bleeding, I sold my house at a huge discount, as-is. Now I live in a trailer. Deo gratias.

I think JD Vance was accurate in his criticism of The USCCB. I live in New York City and many of the Priest placate the teachings of the Democratic Party. They rarely talk about abortion, but they’re always talking about the immigrants. their behavior is no longer like Priest they act like cold, communist Social workers. The result is many people have left the Parish I go to. Many of the sermons are about accepting homosexuality. It’s done in a very ambiguous way. They mention all these groups and then stick in gay., first of all dividing people into groups is communist. We are children of God love the sinner hate the sin. That is never preached. How about going to confession is that preached? No everything is about the bottom dollar the Cardinals appeal which most people don’t even want to give money to anymore. I think it’s incredibly hypocritical for The USCCB to go into hysteria over money. There was no hysteria when Joseph Biden, a pro- abortionist and many other things that are anti- Catholic received communion absolutely no condemnation. I believe Cardinal Dolan my Cardinal stated he would’ve given him communion criticizing The Priest that denied Biden communion. There really isnt a conflict between following the Gospel and the U.S government. The government is operating at an enormous deficit and these programs may have to be reduced or eliminated. These organizations may need to rely on donations only. But it is important to recognize that many Americans have been displaced due to natural disasters and high rents and low wages.
