I was at a live concert during the rally. Early in the show, the entertainer, Brett Allen Morgan, played "God Bless America" and asked us to pray for God to bless America. The show ended with a salute to American veterans, including a chorus of "My Country Tis of Thee." I was honored to hand out small American flags to each veteran who stood in front of the stage. Brett shared the story of his grandfather, a WWII veteran, who was captured by German troops in 1945 and sent to a Nazi prison. The war ended 45 days after he was imprisoned.
