s1=a1 bc s1 means sum of the first digit. The first digit is a1!.....what is the sum of a1? we cant add it with anything bc there is only one number which is a1 but s2 is not equal to a2. S2 means sum of the first 2 digits....what are the first 2 digits? a1 and a2 right? so s2 = a1+a2. Get it?
