From what I've noticed from Blackpink members they are all holding back when they're in the group to meet each other in a level and neutralize their capabilities for their concepts.. They are so strong individually that when they are put together they create a masterpiece.

The thing you said about BLACKPINK is true to EVERY member... Lisa can't do heavy hiphop or sexy choreos because of the bands concept... Rosé can't try acoustic wich is her favorite genre despite the fact she can play piano and guitar, she also said she doesn't like spending time with IDOL bullshit when she would reather be on the studio... Jennie is a complete rapper/singer that dominates 3 languages but she can't sing or rap properly because of the groups parts division... Jisoo voice is more suited for asian ballads and rock since she has a husky tone... But BLACKPINK hinders her vocal capabilities... It's kinda sad, but BLACKPINK often looks more dope when they are apart from each other... I guess it's their labels fault for not exploring the members strong suits...

I agree on everything that you said except the last part that its the management fault. I believe they wouldn't be as popular as they are right now without the gameplan of YG and that they have to solidify their group sound first before anything else. honestly, after being a kpop fan for many years, this is the very first group i have seen that all individual members have strong capability to do a SOLO and each have unique capability and personality but harmonizes so very well as a group. I love them as BlackPink but I also love them as Soloist and I also love them in variety shows and in live shows, they are funnily chaotic and they look so elegant too to be fashion models. YG really did found a Gem but we don't know what will happen after their contract ends...

She has a vocal coach in thailand which is Kru Koy. I know you can say that cause we haven't seen more potential of her singing since she doesn't sing much on the group. And she told on the documentary light up the sky that she wanted to be a singer and a dancer and kinda lost herself with that. Lisa solo is estimated to be happening on June so let's be ready.
