This is a heart wrenching original written Adam Bastien . Adam Bastien ( Bass like the fish - teen) joined in June of this year when Austin left to be home more with his wife and do more solo projects. I think he fits in perfectly with the guys . This Adam goes by Bastien. Compared to Austins country Bastiens sound is more pop music. I also always get excited when Rupp gets to sing. Tim doesn't need to go overly low, this song didn't need it. You will be happy to hear that in this album they did "You're a Mean One, Mr Grinch", so yes, we will get a low lead Tim somewhere in the future

Adam Bastien (pronounced Bass-teen) wrote the song and sings it beautifully. Austin left of his own accord and while we miss him Adam is a good fit. He used to sub for the boys in HF often (years ago) and was in Chris Rupp’s group 7th Avenue. He goes by his last name as there are 3 Adams; Rupp, Chance and now Bastien. Such amazing harmonies. Good reaction! You know the group but I don’t recognize you. This is Bastien’s 4th song with HF. Hope you keep reacting to them. They came out with the Thanksgiving Song a couple of weeks ago. It’s so good too.

Of course , I miss Austin but Bastien is an excellent addition to Home Free ... his voice is so expressive and smooth ! I think the only missing element is Austin's country accent ! Life goes on and I wish them both the best !
