I swear, the only thing I love more than "Friends to Enemies to Lovers" trope is "Enemies to Friends to Lovers" one, so it's a great way to spend the evening, to say the least 😏💛

My former best friend and I had intended to do lots of collabs together through our VA work and we did just about everything together while we were best friends; she even helped me get into my first relationship and supported me in it and called herself my eternal wingwoman and bestie. When the relationship turned abusive and ruined my life, I called out to her because I didn't know what to do and because I was afraid, alone, and abused. She never replied and then unfollowed me and never spoke to me again; I'll never know why. While fictional, this audio helped me to feel some sense of closure and makes me feel more capable of dealing with people to this day asking why I haven't collabed with her and when I'm gonna join her in Vtubing.

I can feel the pain of the character in this audio. It isn't easy to apologize to someone you have betrayed and once knew as a best friend over jealousy. It's a painful thing to get over and even more hard to muster up the courage to apologize. This audio also made me realize something... the word sorry is so simple. All it is a letter, vowel, double r, and another letter. However, the impact it can have on a person is tremendous. It is all that you need to say in order to be forgiven or to be hated more. In the case of this audio, it was the forgiving situation and the reason could be why that the listener loved her as well. Thanks for all the effort and energy you put into caring for others. This world really needs people like you Annie.

if an ex-friend turned bully for x ammount of years and then suddenly said this whole "you meant the world to me, and still do" my reaction wouldn't be a stare, it would be an all out burst of dark laughter xD

I would just not believe her, at first and later after hearing all I still dont know if I'd trully forgive her, like probably not be upset and not hate her anymore, but the bridge for a friendship or anything more is burnt and the trust broken

As a bit of a stubborn fool, I know how hard it is to apologize and admit I am wrong, so this kind of lifted my spirits. Great work as always, Annie! Take care of yourself and be well.

It's hard man, I don't know. I've never been bullied, but I know people who got their lives ruined because of such acts, I'm kinda getting tired of easy forgiving. As much as I like the troupe, the voice, and other small things, it is still really difficult to just accept it as easy as a breeze. It kinda feels like, "Im sorry I killed your dog, but thank you for forgiving me and wanting to have 10 kids with me". Is just my opinion though, still lovely acting as usual.

100% agree. Idk if its how i grew up, or how I interacted with people when i was young, but today id never forgive any of these people, like id allow them back in my life but without never giving a hint of trust ever again. Buuut these vids always have some great VAs so yeah, cant really escape.

I have never seen videos like these ones. They are very interesting 🤔 one sided script stuff. You have a really chill voice in any case. And nice work with the VA 👍 With this topic though, I don’t think I could ever bring myself to try to make stuff up with a couple of past friends I had 😅

Be free from here and go where your heart tells you to go. You deserve love and compassion and security. Move on and be strong if hatred towards me gives you fuel to move further then do it. I give this a solid 9/10. My only complaint is the immediate jump to lovers (which is on the script writer, not the VA.) I was fully immersed right up until then, crying and everything. I think the apology was sufficiently sincere (albeit a tad self-centered,) but it also takes time to rebuild broken trust. I'm a firm believer that if you actually loved someone, regardless of how it ended, those feelings will stick with you. You may move on, and you may be forced to accept that they can't be a part of your life anymore, but that doesn't mean the feelings go away. Even if they are tainted by betrayal or whatever. The only way the ending makes sense (to me, at least,) is if I had continued to pine for her while she was bullying me. That's pretty unrealistic for me on its own, but it's especially hard to believe given how hard I tried to run at the beginning. My thoughts at the end were like "Fine, ok? I loved you too. I wouldn't feel right turning you away after seeing you like this. I'm willing to let you back into my life, if you're willing to earn back my trust." (While trying to word that last quote, I remembered that I do have tsundere tendencies, so that may have influenced my perspective 😆)
