She planned her entire life around being with him and then he just left her. I don’t think he’ll ever really understand what that does to a women but he does have a HUGE amount of guilt for that. That’s why he just wants to see her happy, make sure she has a community around her, and even told her to freeze her eggs. I can tell Jen is such an amazing person and partner…it’s so sad that she had to learn how to be selfish after Jesse left her because she literally gave him the world. I’m sure Jesse already knows he’ll never find someone like that again. Jesse lost the realist love there ever is and unfortunately now Jen has lost a lot of herself because she’s scared to be that person again to someone else but I’m 100% Jen will find her soul mate!!

Man coming from someone who has tried to stay connected with my ex. It’s almost impossible to truly move on and heal when they’re in your life. It makes it difficult to move on. I think a lot of people convince themselves they can stay friends but someone deep down always still has feelings and you can tell Jesse still does. It’s almost torturous to stay friends but it’s the only way to still have them in your life. It’s not a fun place to be in.

I see through your answers and I can only feel very deep emotions of love, some sadness and also fear of losing that special connection you have with each other if you make the wrong decision. Here’s my unpopular opinion: you can clearly see the love between you two. I know the past carries a lot of pain, but you both have forgiven each other or else you wouldn’t have been able to remain friends. Since you have a strong foundation already in place(that took years to build, grow, and learn from), I truly believe it would be worthwhile to give your relationship one more chance. With couple’s therapy, I think you would create a beautiful relationship & babies. It’s hard to find and have what you two have. It would be such a waste to throw that away.The love is there,the foundation is there, the remorse is there, the care is there,…..the want is there. Jesse himself said that he hasn’t found anyone remotely close to Jen. The eyes don’t lie, just look at them both. I watch these 2 grow up. They where my go to KZbinrs when I was younger and still watch them till this day. It’s sad that they are apart but are happy and still stay connected.
