So funny. At the time of the discard, as he was driving away, I told him that I would always be the one who got away, and immediately went into no contact after 13 years of 10+ phone calls/texts from him/day. That will always be the last text/contact he will see. He tried to get me to communicate with him several times through other people and I refuse. Never have that last argument with a narcissistic deceitful person. Praying for someone new who is good.

That's a true fact that u cannot just easily turn ur heart off but it's also a true fact that when u forgive someone who hurt you with cheating they respect u even less than before because they realize they'd never forgive u if u did the same to them so if u had the chance to take them back u really would be doing it for urself only to stop ur heart from hurting which many people do bcuz ur concern would be wanting relief from the heartache but if u took them back without them first changing themselves completely around n fix all their issues that triggered them to hurt you bcuz something is wrong n it doesn't matter if it's childhood trama or abandonment issues or thought the grass was greener or has fears or a drug addiction or because their lazy n the new person is stupid n willing to financially support them whatever the reason they must repair it n get therapy etc bcuz if not they'll do it again n it would hurt 50x's worse next time if u forgive them please remember this truth.
