I rode this type of bus in school way back in the day, and the sound is so familiar. It reminds me of a wash machine winding down when the bus slows to a stop. I have always been so curious of what that sound was on the bus. Is it the Turbo wind down, or transmission gear whine? Newer buses do not make this familiar noise.
