Notorious Liverpool ex-gangster Darren Gee opens up about his horrific childhood, what led him into a life of crime & getting entangled in a gang feud which ultimately led to the murder of an innocent friend Craig Barker and the murder of another innocent man, David Regan.
Darren Gee also goes into his trial, what it was like facing a life sentence and his ultimate prison sentence. He then goes into detail about prison life & his experience with Islam within the prison system.
Darren Gee, now reformed, champions a movement called 'Choose A Life, Not A Kn!fe' (CALNAK) and has been aiming at helping reduce or eliminate crime on not only the streets of Liverpool, but in the whole UK and he has been actively promoting positive change in society by appearing on many podcasts such as Anything Goes With James English, The Central Club, Shaun Attwood & more.

I went through mostly what Darren had went through but a bit more violence from my parents I got punched up not brought up but yehh Darren is right there are kids that have went through some madness from getting raised as children we where getting beatings of grown men I didn't kno what live is until I had my first child and met my fiance and didn't meet her till I was 21 just out of jail from a LTP sentence and thats because we weren't showed love as a child and it isn't until u have your own children you think it's normal until u have your own children and know thats not the way you bring children up but as a said as kid u think it's normal and it makes u numb to a lot of things cold really but big up to Darren gee alot of people don't like him he's like marmite some people love him some don't lol but a think he's dead on much love from Scotland troops love the podcast ❤

A protagonist is a main character in a story. Precursor is what came before which led to something.

Thanks for your comment, precursor is something that happened before the next thing, protagonist can mean ‘an advocate or champion of a particular cause or idea’ he explained the advocate for more serious crime was adults, so the conversation makes sense. However, the better word I could’ve used would’ve been ‘causation’, but then again, he explained the cause was financial. Anyways it’s all semantics!
