USA likes itself too much. Most of our European systems are better than US... and in the EU we don't allow Usa to steal our data.

The high costs of investments may hinder small players from entering the market. The only way small startups can enter the market is through innovative and disruptive approaches such as different model architecture.

I agree. Even smaller countries will struggle a lot on AI. They have to be very strategic if they are to win.

The US China competition issue makes me wonder whether collaboration while competition is the best way to make sure AI is developed responsibly. Because sooner or later a startup somewhere will create a new paradigm shift that will not require massive improvements and then anyone anywhere can deploy their own model that may be dangerous.
