While he was familiar with both Hinduism and Christianity, Ramesh harboured a strong disdain for Islam, influenced by the negative portrayal of Muslims in the media and films.
But one night changed everything. Paralyzed in his sleep, he called upon all the gods he knew for help-yet nothing happened. Desperate, he uttered the words "Allahu Akbar," and miraculously, he was healed.
This powerful experience transformed his life. Soon after, Ramesh embraced Islam, becoming Raheem.

Assalamu alaikum wa rahamatullahi wa barakatuh, I am glad to share my story with you all. When I embraced Islam, I knew little of who Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) was. My heart was purely convinced that the Creator is One-nothing of stone, idols, pictures, gods, saints or priests. I asked Allah ‎سبحانه وتعالى to draw me closer to Him, and in His infinite mercy, He guided me to understand the Quran and follow the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Even without knowledge of Arabic, Allah made His words precious to me through transliterations, and nothing now holds greater value to me than the divine speech of Allah ‎سبحانه وتعالى . His guidance is beyond comprehension; He draws us nearer to Him in unimaginable ways. Life’s highs and lows are part of His plan, and through gratitude and acceptance of His decree, with husnl dhan billah-good opinion of Allah-and tawakkul, we find solace knowing He has our backs. For those who find it challenging to follow Islam, remember: Allah is always just one call away. We might not always grasp His wisdom in accepting our supplications, but with sabr (patience), His love and companionship will envelop us. In time, everything will unfold for our best, InshaAllah. The ultimate reward is nearness to Allah ‎سبحانه وتعالى , rather than merely the fulfillment of our dua. Dua is our lifeline, our way of reaching out to Him, affirming our reliance on Him alone. Allah treasures when we seek Him and act solely for His sake. Having strong belief-emaan, Ikhlaas (sincerity) in ibadah (acts of worship) & by humbling yourself in prayers-dua; there you are a star in His sight, being beloved to Him ‎سبحانه وتعالى May be unknown to the inhabitants of the earth but most certainly celebrated by His angels in the heavens bi’dhnillah ta’ala. If Allah ‎سبحانه وتعالى has blessed you with Islam, know that there is nothing in this life that can even come close to this divine gift. You possess something beyond the reach of words, a treasure so infinite that its value surpasses all else. Islam is that divine light that illuminates your soul and connects you to the Creator in a way that defies all description. ماشاء الله! Knowing about your story ,the impression left on me is huge. I just get more and more closer to believe that when Allah wills, only when He wills, things should happen. I had Hindu friends before and being a Muslim, we had discussions about Islam. I felt they were rational friends and one of them told me:" What I like in your religion is that you have 1 God because having too many different Gods makes you distracted" I felt: Wow! Isnt that enough for anyone to submit to God/Allah? But yeah, it's not we who have the power to guide( نهدي) others to submit( يسلم), its only when Allah wills! No social fetters,no family restrictions, nothing would stand as a barrier when someone is truely guided, all those fears, conditions ,accuses fall at the moment hearts submit. Allahu Akbar. The ‘hu’ is attached to the name of Allah. اللهُ اكبر it’s not اللهُ هُ اكبر as Muslims we must learn Arabic in sha Allah. There are some mistakes people make in reciting Qur’aan that change the meaning of the Speech of Allah as He intended. These mistakes make one sinful. It’s important to learn Arabic and tajweed to avoid that in sha Allah.

The same happened with me. After passing my mother, I was completely broken and down, and I cried a lot whole day. I became so much depressed I was questioning Allah why this happened to me why you take my life's most important person so early.. Then, one morning, when I was alone at home and sleeping, I experienced my first time in my life. I had sleep paralysis it was so frightened. I wish I had never experienced that again in my life. I was unable to move my body. I wanted to call my husband, but my tongue was not able to speak. I wanted to shout, and I struggled a lot to get relief from that state, but I was unable to speak a single word. Then I started reading Ayat al kursi, and I wondered the words were so light, and I read it easily and wake up.. Wonderful and frightening experience
