Ex hyped up perfumes- Are them still good?

This is one toxic trait of the perfume community - hyping up new releases, getting them, decluttering and forgetting about the 'old' ones. Like fast fashion trend. And you are unwillingly caught in this cycle. Myself included. 😮

That is why so many perfumes get discontinued. Because the people always want something new. I hope that will change, because some fragrances are connected with our memories and it is sad when they disappear from the market. We need to learn to be faithful to our fragrances.. I love some vintages like LouLou by Cacharel ❤ - it is around since many years because many women still buy it. And it does not smell "dated" at all! 😊

I love this idea. It's like a capsule of fragrances. I struggle with how social media cycles so fast on things. KZbin is fast paced, fragrances releases too, but the reality is that most of us are not living with fragrance at this pace.

I still love all of these!! Sometimes I just takes me to physically take them out and put them in front of my collection to remind myself how much I love them! It’s like buying a new fragrance when you start wearing it all over again!

I LOVE Italica because it smells like marzipan 🤤🤤🤤 If I could find a fragrance that smells like the first few moments of BR540 Extrait and stopped at the sweet almond gourmand note, I’d be in heaven.

Good video . I do not hear a lot of people still talking about addict by dior but it was a hyped popular one. It gets mentioned when fragrance reviewers mention their top for life sometimes but I adore it.

I JUST bought Gris Dior and I can’t believe how amazing it is. But I had to pay full $355 retail for it I couldn’t find it discounted 😢 but it’s worth it to me.

I loooooove Gris Dior! I am an American who lived in Paris for two years, and I love chyphre fragrances now. They so remind me of the classic elegant French aesthetic. So beautiful! Subtle and intoxicating.

It’s scares me how many I have from your list, but I agree some are still so good. I just sprayed oud bouquet today just to smell it again and it lingered in the air for hours! I wore it so much and I have a lot left, bottle will last a lifetime. I think MFK GFG is over hyped, I prefer GFS. Good video! ❤

I just got to know about Jasmin Rouge last month and bought it right away! It's more of a Gardenia than Jasmin, but because of that it smells younger and fresher while besing still indollic and sexy.

I also like Samsara! ❤ Gabby should make a video about some older fragrances they still smell great and not dated. I love LouLou by Cacharel, my ex boyfriend gave it to me (his mum was using it). It was luck because i would never try such an old fragrance (big mistake!). Now Loulou is my no 1! Since then i am always looking for vintage fragrances-and as vintage i mean real vintage like Shalimar, L'heure Bleue, Nahema, Chanel 22 etc. 😁 Some very young girls ask me sometimes what i am wearing (because they like it) and they are surprised when i say how old some of those fragrances are. 😃 We have to discover old perfumes again. Of course i love new perfumes too...

I just bought Rich Warm Addictive, it's divine but has no lasting power whatsoever...and now here in the comments I see there was an original formulation that had coconut??? WHY do they change a good thing! Ach! Intense cafe is a very rich rose to me, not much if any coffee at all, but it is beautiful...I recently nabbed Olympéa Legend, which is very rich and heavy with dark fruits..Can't find the Intense anywhere..and now I want the original which is much lighter and brighter i think...LOVE your videos, Gabby! .

Olympea Intense is still mentioned ocassionaly, so does Sophia and definitely La Belle la parfuma, and actually LIBRE, L'interdit Rouge and La Belle La Parfume are the only original scents in the last 5 years ....

😁 I am new here and I REALLY appreciate the history lesson Dolce Garden That one is not mine. I tested it today. It smells nice/okay but it also smells like my aunt. I really like my aunt but I don‘t want to smell like her. She is a really elegant lady. On my skin I smell kinda sour, rotten fruit. I don’t know. Basically like my aunt and sour fruit. Also too many flowers for me. I am finding out things about myself. I really don’t like flower scents.

Gabby I work at a spa and we are not supposed to wear fragrances but i can smell my co worker from the parking lot (aromatic and green just like the spa we work at ) but she says that she's not wearing a fragrance.
