Ex London Transit 2008 New Flyer D40LF Bus Ride in Brampton Ontario 4/19/2024

On 2008 New Flyer D40LF unit 0832. This is one of nine D40LF units Brampton Transit purchased from the London Transit Commission to supplement the fleet during strong ridership growth and overcrowding on certain routes. This unit entered service four days before filming this video and is one of two currently in service at the time of filming. This is a full ride southbound on Route 10 South Industrial.
The purchased units from London do bring back some memories and nostalgia to those who experienced the original D40LFs Brampton ordered between 2002 and 2004. The last one from those years retired last month.

Hey Alex, did you get a chance to ride "BT on demand" route for Brampton Transit? Its literally a new route where you book the bus time that replace route 40 and I know most likely its the 2008 new flyers the one order from London uses that route.

How do you love the ISL on these? These are Brampton's first buses with EPA 2007 ISL engine.

@@AlexGetsAroundTO So far London, Orillia, and Burlington has had Allison D40LF's with EPA 2007 engines! Burlington's is gone and they now have Allison D40LF's with EPA 2010 engines now.
