This person just said that Christians should be open to new ideas. This is false because the only ideas we need to be open to are the ideas found in the word of God.. there are a lot of new ideas that are not based on the Gospel of Jesus Christ

I’m not being sinister but I have a real question. If people say “astral projection” is demonic why were we created with that ability? If it’s demonic why would our perfect all loving God give us that ability anyway? It’s like if I know heroine is bad, why would I leave some in my son’s bedroom? I guess because we have free will. Same w the third eye & so many of the other things we are inclined to do naturally but shouldn't do/ think/ say. I wonder this all the time... as most of what we as humans do is sinful. It also has to do w Adam & eve eating the fruit... but again... why leave the temptation & the tempter alone w them? You can read the book from Rebecca Brown Yoder called "he came to set the captives free". Rebecca, a Christian doctor, (real story), goes into spiritual warfare to save a woman from Satanism. They explain all about astral projection and ceremonies you don't want to know about.

People that get into Occult practices, do not always see it’s a seductive trap, that they think gives them power, but it’s all of Satan who has no power ultimately. We have the ability to do a lot of things because we have free will. I used to lucid dream every night because I had the ability to and knew how. Eventually, that became an open door and I began having sleep paralysis and many more other scary things. We have ability to do a lot, but that doesn’t mean it’s good for us. Usually when we’re advised to stay away from things, it’s because they open doors that do harm.

Something to think about: Revelation 1:1 says that the things written there "must shortly come to pass." Shortly was over a long time ago! It's time to consider the idea that something must have happened that canceled all the end time prophecies that had the chosen people as their focus! And, in fact, in the final book of the scriptures written, Colossians, Paul told of a different end time scenario when this mystery dispensation comes to an abrupt close by the appearing of Jesus Christ back on the earth (Colossians 3:4 KJV); and of his receiving of his inheritance from his Father, a kingdom that, instead of having Israel's or Judah's name on it as in Old Testament prophecy, now has the name of the Lord Jesus Christ on it. And instead of the kingdom being just for the formerly chosen people (that were let go at Acts 28:28-31 KJV), the kingdom of God's dear Son, the earth restored to its original glory, will be the eternal dwelling place of the Son of God and "the one new man" of Ephesians 2:15 KJV - made of twain of the saints of time past, saved according to prophecy, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV (from creation until Acts ended) and those saved after Acts that accepted the gift of God without works, Ephesians 2:8&9 KJV, according to the mystery revealed to Paul after the unbelieving Jews were let go at Acts 28:28-31 KJV. The idea that anyone will be taken up to heaven is a myth that needs to be dispelled, amen?

He respected her free will and let her go (divorced her with a final bill of divorcement just like her sister, Israel back in Hosea), then reconnoitered and began a new work (Acts 28:28 KJV) where all are offered eternal life in the kingdom of God's dear Son (Colossians 1:13 KJV) if they will only place their faith in that Son and what he accomplished at Calvary, and that salvation is offered as a free gift with no strings like Laws, rituals or works required: Ephesians 2:8 & 9 KJV. Ephesians and Colossians are the only two books of the Bible that concern the revelation of the mystery by which the saints of time past and the heathen (that's everyone not yet saved after Acts ended (Colossians 3:11 KJV) are made of twain the "one new man" of Ephesians 2:15 KJV. Look, sincere Bible believers are so overwhelmed by the sheer amount of passages about Israel, Judah, and their promises/prophecy that they cannot conceive of the idea (and the fact) that God gave them both their wish and cast them out of his sight, because, as we know now, he had a secret hid in himself since the world began and he wants our focus to be on that secret (Ephesians 3:9 KJV) because it's by and due to that secret, that mystery, that wretches such as we are can be made acceptable to the God that created everything - the "ugly stepsister" gets everything this time - just because she wants it/him!
