Today's yarn is with my close friend Moe Khoder from Melbourne, Victoria.
He discusses his upbringing, being a president of a motorcycle club, and how that eventually led him to be sentenced to 8 years in prison for large commercial drug trafficking.
This is his story of redemption, have a geez.

What I’m saying here isn’t directed at the two people on this podcast, I don’t know them. I don’t judge them, it’s not directed at any one person, just those who have in my life given an impression that as I’ve got older has actually became clear what it actually means. All this mention of “Respect” what does it actual mean to these people who consider to have been in the “boob” to equal a MOH, or the equivalent to a Purple Heart. The fact is not one of these characters are respected by anyone, feared, yes absolutely, Respected? No, and as a consequence of fear = Resentment, eventually, that’s one of the ways people end up in Gaol, scare tactics and forced persuasion will never be respected, it will breed contempt, it will produce informants, contempt coupled with jealousy. Admittedly, the Gaol System is a criminal University for some, but the interesting pattern that goes along with these individuals, those believing that a criminal career is the way to go, they’ll say ,”who wants to work your arse off for a boss who’s a cunt, telling me what to fuckin do and all for $750 a week!?” “That’s for dickheads that working mans game, I know better than that, I’m gonna make money fast, fuckem!”, many a regretful soul who thought they were smarter than police has in hindsight thought that, readily admitted it or not. You know who the richest most successful Criminals, Drug importers, Crime Syndicate Principals of the world are? No neither do i, in fact no one does, because the most successful, wealthy and powerful of that world, do the complete opposite of ones who like to talk themselves up, throw cash around like confetti, flashy cars, jewels, woman and toys, and that leads me to the fact that the smart crooks, that don’t look or act like crooks, they’ve never been in a Gaol, not even to visit someone, and they never will. Gaol isn’t an indication of how good a crook someone is, it actually shows that you’re the exact opposite. And Respect, it’s not given, it’s earned, no matter if your names Mr Wolf, Mr Buddle, Mr Ibrahim or it’s Mr John Smith, the bloke you never heard of.

Sorta sounds like my story and probably a lot others too lol but fkd thing was I got out the game, then got smacked with a RTP warrant for a dirty and thought fk it and went on a 4yr run even got the classo and paperwork to prove it. Finally got pinched on a domestic flight by AFP. And went back in BCC. Fast forward 10mths I got my parole back and the day I was supposed to get out I got shafted by boarder force under section 501 and tipped back to NZ. That was 3yrs ago and being deported was the best thing that happened because for once I’m not on any other community order bullshit and now making more money I did legitimately running my own lil bizzo.

The patch does not make you decide to sell drugs, commit crime or lose the decency within yourself. What you do and what you allow within your club is what will happen.. I respect the guy interviewed because he didn’t blame the club for he’s actions or anyone else’s because it’s not the club its the individuals. It’s not what the patch does for you, it’s what you do for the patch and if your intention is bad you make it look bad, if your intentions are good then it is good. Good to see that finally a real man took responsibility for his actions in the club and didn’t walk away putting blame on the club like the majority do.. respect 🤜🏽🤛🏽
