You can't say that until you're in his shoes. His music was geared towards a predominantly middle-class Liberal student audience and you can guarantee a lot of his friends are of that ilk also. You can't just go all out with your beliefs in that predicament.

I think Winston would make a good commentator for this channel. Not right now but in the future. He's high IQ, charismatic, thoughtful and restrained. He could be the British tucker carlson one day. shit, better even.

As much as I am a supporter of freedom of expression and speech, one should be very thoughtful about voicing what they support especially if you are tied to a band who has worked tireless to make the band and its art become a success. You have to think of your band mates. I can understand why his band mates didn’t stand by him. I wish it wasn’t like this but it’s the reality.

@@fenian007 Got to disagree with you on that. When arguing or debating with an opponent, offending them moves the debate/argument away from the point being debated, turning it into a war of bitter and spiteful words. I do agree though that trying not to offend the woke crowd is virtually impossible.

@@fenian007 There's a big difference between offending people with facts, which I totally agree with you on, you should never apologise for that. But offending someone at a personal level is a different matter. There are 2 kinds of causing personal offence, intentional or unintentional. If I say something that I know is going to cause offence, I wouldn't apologise. But if I unintentionally offend someone then on a lot of occasions an apology is the best course of action. Not every time. If for example I misgendered someone in their opinion, I would try to go along with their preferences, but I wouldn't apologise.
