In my humble opinion, you need to approach a person with kindness. Please answer them and don't turn them away just because they disrespected religion. Lots of people disrespected Islam when our prophet (PBUH) invited them. He didn't get upset and tell them to leave. Imagine if he did what you just did, there wouldn't be any Muslim in this world. In my opinion God does not need a name. We humans need names because there are so many of us and we use names to distinguish among us. Since there is only ONE God, then the reference God clearly identifies whom we refer to. Which is why he told Moses to tell people he was who he was ie. I am who I am. He didn't need to be addressed by a name as there is only one God.
