Always impresses me how intelligent our SAS guys are, not just someone to kick a door down or take someone out and always so humble. A popular speech of Winston Churchill comes to mind "We sleep safely at night because rough men stand ready to visit violence on those who would harm us" somewhat sums up SAS guys and I for one are proud we have them. Respect to all who serve.

I salute you Chris, you are the first ever person I have seen on TV or in the media that actually thanked an ex serviceman for his service, and when you think of it that is so sad and annoying at the same time.

Just as an FYI the US Navy SEALS are Tier 2 and are equivalent to our Royal Marines. SEAL Team 6, now known as DEVGRU which are Tier 1 and our SBS equivalent . The DEVGRU airborne/army counterpart is Delta Force, the SAS equivalent.

Billy is better at holding back than most, being civil biting his tongue instead of saying what I’m sure he was thinking because he’s worked with both groups. (What I mean is Billy answered the following question respectfully and with class.) I forget which channel it was, he was asked (in so many words) why we see so much more about SEALs than Delta. I can’t remember what he said exactly, but I know everyone else watching just like me were thinking, man this badass handled that with the class most wouldn’t by not stating because Delta is better. He obviously knows it. They were created based on the SAS lol. Anyway, all the respect in the world to Billy and every other SAS operator, and the rest of our allies across the pond!
