Oh yeah for the Broly cutscenes, like 80% of the context was just spewed out as in-game dialogue. You should do a Xenoverse replay of the DLC stories to get it. 🗿

For context like how tapion can help against jiren, Fu basically has a massive stockpile of energy he gathers with all his craziness he creates, and he powers up people with bits of it to make it a fair fight. Hes really just interested on how things will play out.

To explain Blue Goku appearing to help Future Gohan. After Vegeta defeated Toppo, a rift was left open connecting to the Janemba area. Goku sensed what was happening and flew through it to help out. Also the multi timeline thing spirit sword cutscene, when Goku Black cuts open the rift with his scythe since he empowered by the dark energy it opened to other timelines instead. Plus Xeno Trunks (Time Patrol Trunks) was watching what was happening which is why he knew to give energy. And about fairness…honestly who cares it’s a fight against a guy who stole Goku’s body teamed up with an alternate version of himself who then wished to be immortal and killed the Kais to get rid of the Gods of Destruction and Angels. Those two never began this fight fairly.

Also I could have sworn there was a CGI cutscene when Zamasu starts spreading through the rift and talks to the Supreme Kai of Time before getting erased by Zeno. Weird. And I think Dabura came back to existing because of something Towa did before dying which essentially saved him. I might be wrong though. But yeah, Fu is Towa and Mira’s son as well as Dabura’s nephew. I don’t know why they explained his existence the way they do in Xenoverse 2 since in Online, where they originate, he was conceived like most people.

You actually chose the perfect time to spot cause there’s a CGI cutscene missing that happens before that GT Vegeta one. It’s basically just Dabura becoming free from his own stone spit thing and thinking who he should get help from to change history and the laughing looking at the camera. Figured I’d say this otherwise you’ll be confused when you continue to watch it all.

I know this is very late but this hit actor actually hasn’t been replaced. In the newest DLC he’s still voicing hit even till this day in cutscenes and such. He’s basically just the Xenoverse hit it’s pretty weird.

9:29 Oh yeah, that weird quirk. Look at Future Gohan's hair here. Looks a little off, don't it? I forget how awful Dimps is at quality control until I see things like that. He looked the same in the cutscene after he died to the Androids, for some fcking reason they either messed up royally when making a Base Form model of him for the CG cutscenes or entirely forgot to do that until last minute and just duplicated the Super Saiyan one and recolored his hair. I guess that a year and a half since launch just wasn't enough time in the oven to fix that.

(This is just my thoughts, and opinions on how I feel about and view Xenoverse 2, feel free to read it if you’d like as that would be greatly appreciated) As an OBSESSIVE 3 subscriber Xenotuber who’s played since near launch (around 5-6 years). The games appeal comes from being able to make your own characters and broken OP builds in the dragon ball format. The PVP is god awful, balancing is horrible and the net code sucks at times, but the DLCs and the story modes are fun to play through with your CACs. The game takes very little skill, just abuse eye frames and be aggressive and you’ll win, pick the most broken characters and you usually win unless you face a better opponent with no lag. Would I recommend you play it again? Maybe for the single player aspect and character creator sure. The game has added so much more stuff, even without the DLC we have more transformations (mostly) for saiyans, and two of the most recent transformations are for all races as well (not spoiling if you wanna find out yourself). (I know I keep spouting nerd stuff but I’m just gonna show things I like about it, even with the games big flaws here and there) We also gained a new level cap, from level 99 to 120, the path to get there is long (a week to get 8 characters to 120) but it’s worth it to nuke every mission in the game in the end. If you are interested, I have to say that this game can get tedious at times, so if you wanna grind for specific skills, levels, or TP medals, expect to be bored if you’re not zoning out listening to music, you’ll most likely encounter this after finishing the missions and stories of Xenoverse 2. There’s a sub community of Xenoverse 2 players that hang around and make smaller YT videos going over how to optimize and efficiently grind out the game, like how to efficiently grind camaraderie points (new recent update points to get new playable presets for existing base game or dlc characters) or what’s the highest damage multiplier you can have possible to grind out long quests. (I figured that one out btw, 150% + whatever transformation you equip) The sub community is basically the actual good Xenoverse 2 KZbinrs that make actual good and informative content, answering questions and giving help and advice that the game doesn’t inform you about, like improving your build or “How many points does it take to get a bar of Ki or stamina without going overboard?” They only get like less than 1000 views on each of their videos as the most popular Xenoverse KZbinrs either don’t know anything or enough about the game they play, aren’t funny or entertaining, or suck complete a sh*t at it, spamming clickbait videos and boring AF content that makes you wanna blow your brains out. (Like SLOplays, worst Xenoverse YT account ever). I’m not saying I do much for the small community either, I’m just having fun with my characters and enjoying one of the very few dragon ball games I can play in recent systems. (Besides Fighterz, I will love Fighterz forever) ALRIGHT! Sorry I went off on a tangent there, I just wanted to express my feelings about Xenoverse 2 and its community, it would be kinda cool if you played Xenoverse 2 with fans though, I could see that playing out kinda well if people might be interested, you should ask em. Other than that, it would be interesting to see you play it on your channel in general in the future, maybe make highlights of you streaming the game, idk. Alrighty, imma stop being annoying and let you go work on your vids, later gator. 🐊 (You: Bro this is just me reacting to cutscenes, you didn’t have to answer a question nobody asked).

Was an interesting and informative read, if I manage to make time I wouldn’t mind trying xenoverse again but the problems you detailed still being around definitely doesn’t seem great 😭 the most fun I had was making character builds and trying out dlc characters so for that aspect I guess the games even better now. I hope the XV community continues to enjoy itself regardless!
