I think scarlett lost because ru thought it was poetic for her to go in that way. -The whole episode scarlet talks about how bad of a dancer she is. -The lipsync song was last dance, Scarlett despite performing well wasn’t dancing the best. -so ru tells her “that it’s not her last dance” which foreshadows her as an all star. And she can say that she’ll “never stop dancing” Meaning that she would accept and invitation back.

Yeah, but I think there was also a clash of storylines here. Plastique, as the Alyssa's daughter that was young yet polished was a good candidate for the crown since she never placed below safe until LADPD. From having not enough screen time to having A COMPLETE EPISODE FOR HER (Alyssa teaching the girls, Plastique's bf sending her the video, Plastique's story with her family, Ru hugging Plastique and calling her her baby), Plastique was Top 4 material for the producers. If Rajah wouldn't have called them out, she would have continued i the competition (practically Shuga would have been sacrificed and placed in the bottom with Vanjie in the LADPD). On the other side, you have Vanjie. The meme queen that started strong and progressively started to diminish her power. However, she is part of the first showmance inside the show. The fans would love Branjie to continue until the point one of them needs to send home the other, but Brooke was a front runner. How to fix that? Carrying Vanjie. In order to not being called out by the fans for playing favorites, they needed to get rid of Plastique while they had the chance or we would have had another Vixen

Personally I think the winning moment in the Sasha vs. Peppermint lipsync was when they lipsync the lyrics "you were making a fool of me-aaaahh" where Sasha was so into it that she started shaking violently that it portrays the emotion of the song really well and it was so well done. But yeah that purposely falling down was genius as well. But then again everything she did in those 2 lipsyncs were iconic as fxck and genius and well-thought out

Cynthia is one of the worst lipsyncers. She lost all of them. (Even the one against Farrah imo). Same with Trixie. She won none of her lipsyncs, except against Kennedy (which she won by default). Also i agree that Eureka was favored a lot by the judges, maybe the most out of any queen ever.

Plastique lost the LSFYL because her lipsync didn't match the vibe of the song. Vanjie embodied the type of woman who would be singing about wanting a hood "boy". Plastique lipsynced like someone who knew the words but didn't get the message. These are the types of lipsyncs that highlight the nuance cultural differences. When I watched that lipsync, I felt like I would have thought that Plastique was lipsyncing to any generic pop song if the sounds was off. With Vanjie's I'd at least be able to guess the type of song. Scarlet lost because her cutting herself out of the dress was poorly timed and took forever. On top of that, it was a song about dancing and she spent most of the song plopping herself all over the stage. Silky won because it was too late in the season for e double sashay and Nina was boring in terms of story development.
