I passed my test today . Thanks to all your videos . While parallel parking I kinda rubbed the curb so I thought it was an automatic fail. And when I got back to the site he gave me my 5 hr certificate so I was like yeah I failed for sure . Bc at the back of the 5 hr class certificate it says if they give this back to you it means you failed . And I checked today at 6pm and I passed. Ps: I was nervous asf while taking the test . Tips : Make sure to check blind spots when making left and right turns . Rare mirror side mirror and over your shoulder. When doing your U turns , make sure to signal in the direction the vehicle is going . And when backing up look behind you . Stop before the stop line / crosswalk . If there’s non , stop before the stop sign . When you come to a stop sign on a 2 way street . Stop once for pedestrians then stop another time to see oncoming traffic . And only proceed when safe to do so. Don’t be in a rush to go. Wait as long as you need to. Go the speed limit . Going below the speed limit / too slow is a bad thing . I was going slow and my instructor told me to speed up. Overall the test wasn’t that difficult. It was roughly 5-10 mins long at the most .

one correction : if there's no stop line don't stop before the stop sign as typically you still won't get a clear view of the road rather line your passenger side mirror with the point where the pavement starts to curve

Suggestion: Saturday mornings are also great for road test. I recently gave my road test on Saturday morning and realized that with the entire world sleeping in there was pratically no traffice...

The examiner congratulated me for my driving twice at the end. Your videos really played a role in me obtaining my license and I still re-watch from time to time. I've got my driver license a while ago, I live in another country, but your videos taught me A LOT I passed my exams on manual transmission car and my instructor told me to be gentle and careful about hitting the brake pedal because my right leg will be used only for the gas and break pedal and accidentally I might gas "too much" if I wouldn't get used to use brake gentle as necessary. also your videos where you explained "tunnel vision" is VERY true. I followed a car in a traffic, he stopped (saw red lights) so I started slowing down, but when I drove closer to him, I had to break "harder" and it was because I was inexperienced. I had to look in my rear mirror luckily nobody was following me. otherwise someone could've hit my car behind. there are hundreds of details while driving, you explain all of them very well. thank you!

In Cincinnati, Ohio I scheduled mine at the Mount Healthy station because all you do is go around in a circle at 25mph (40km/h) and it's easier to enter and exit the facility's parking lot, instead of scheduling it near my previous residence in Sharonville. Still got -5 on my test for "going too slow" which I'm still pissed about, since the car I was using shifts exactly at 25mph (40km/h), I was going around 20-22mph (32-36km/h) to keep the car in the lower gear

Honestly I was thinking of taking my Test in Long Island Riverhead because that place is the easiest in New York. Taking a bike for me from the Bronx all the way to Long Island is like 8 hours 💀 or from a cab cost like 200. Which is an hour to get there. I might get a cab and just do it.

In the winter yes, but only about 30 seconds. Then drive slowly in the first few minutes if possible.
