*MUST READ* So this wasn’t meant to be a revision advice video, so I didn’t fully articulate myself and what I meant by ‘focus on what you can take into the exam’, which is my main bit of advice (as well as fucking shit up). Here’s what I mean… Of all the information / knowledge / dates / arguments that you can learn for an exam, there’s a very limited amount you can actually write given the time constraints of the exam and the limited amount of questions you answer. So instead of wasting time revising everything, spend time going over past papers and mark schemes to identify the key themes of your paper(s), then target your final last few days / weeks of revision directly at consolidating those. The idea is that you work smart - working towards specific recurring themes in the exam, while also covering yourself with backup themes - rather than working hard and learning everything, which is impractical and inefficient. Also aware that this probably applies more to late-A-Level / University exams more than GCSEs, apologies for that. Hope that clears things up - best of luck and let me / Mossgang know how exams go.
